"C'mooooon, Esten, we're gonna be late again if you don't finish!" Esten, a muscular and and very tired man, wiped sweat from his brow, hoping his creation would end this all. Hopefully, just may- "ESTEN! Hurry up!" He put away his stuff, throwing all his tools messily into the tool-box, he'd organize it later. He threw on his lucky jacket and ran for the front door, where Seth was waiting for him, "Great, now we're late, you're explaining this to the king." Esten nodded, keeping his mouth shut, he dare not face Seth's fury. The castle was just above the town, so the walk didn't in any way help Esten with his weak and weary body, but he pushed up. Seth, him and his magical powers, it infuriated Esten, Seth got all the magical abilities from their mother, while Esten got all the building and tinkering skills from their father. Seth glided up the stairs, not touching the floor, not even starting to get tired. Sometimes Seth like to rub it in, making Esten even more jealous, one time when they were childr- CRAAAAAACCKKKKKK!!!!! The air was filled with a sudden sound, making Esten fall to his knees, Seth's spell broke, and he fell onto his back, groaning. Esten's head was full of thoughts, pain, and questions. His most active thought at the moment though, was to look up. He regrets even moving. The castle's main lookout tower was dominated by fire and screaming, a large red figure flew over it, leaving a trail of fire behind it. The creature landed on the second tower, but it couldn't support the creature's weight, and it toppled like a sand castle. The air was thick with smoke, and it soon blotted out the sun, masking the land in a eerie half-light, the only bright thing Esten could see was the burning rubble of the castle, its walls deforming, melting under the extreme heat, Esten looked for the large beast again, hoping it wouldn't spot him, but the creature had flown away. Esten's vision blurred and flashed, he had to help Seth, no matter how mean he is, he was the only family he had left. He looked around, Seth was nowhere to be found except for some ripped rags of his robe, and a very scary pool of blood.
