I posted this on the discussion about downvotes, but I think it's also relevant for just about any topic that there is discussion and debate about:

All the website staff want to do is improve the website and community as a whole, we have no hidden or ulterior agendas. Cyprezz himself puts a LOT of effort into making this website a better place, doing tons of programming, planning, and implementing of ideas for the betterment of PMC.

Even recently we have been making vast improvements to the site, and planning even more. For example, the entire contest system was made by Cyprezz, from scratch, on the fly, when we needed it, during a contest. We change, we evolve, we improve. Sometimes there are things we try out and sometimes they are not worth changing to. We're still in that process of change and evolution and always will be. Please don't be too harsh on the people who really do care about you most. Who do you think we are making these changes for?

If we didn't care what you guys thought, the site staff would have simply locked threads with alternate opinions and gone with what the majority of the our opinions were on the matter. But we do care what people think, and I am personally very glad that there is so much discussion about contested topics and issues.

And remember, you guys are here because Cyprezz has created this place for you to enjoy, and yes, even get in passionate arguments about. I am glad that you are debating about issues because it shows you care just as much as we do.

So thank you, for speaking up, and please consider that we care just as much as you do.
