Our eyes meet
only for a moment,
If only we could even try
to try and make it work
But time move forwards
constantly
and life makes stops for no man
Thus you and I cant
take the scenic route

Over-achievers
The both of us
and neither of us can stop caring
I know that if we had a chance
at least there would be results
We knew each other in the past
Though not so much in the future
Can we at least try
to make that right?

I stopped caring long ago
About starships,
and lasers,
The future is there,
but we're right here,
So why give a damn?

If now is not the time
nor is it the place
Can we at least be
together in trouble?
Neither of us have the choice
Unless we want to give up now
So we can stop life
Stop the future
Or try to remain in the now.

The future isn't
as bright as we had hoped
The now is boring
and probably wasted
Cant we have some fun?
