Please do not be mad at me if you know some of these already!

First: You can make a lamp that only turns on at night. The materials needed are: A redstone lamp, fence posts of your choice or stone walls, trapdoors, and a daylight sensor.

Place 3 fence posts or stone walls on top of each other then on top of the fence posts place a redstone lamp. Next you place a daylight sensor on top of the redstone lamp and click on it so it isn't blue. Place trap doors around all sides of the redstone lamp. Below the fence posts/stone walls place a slab or block that is similar or is of the same material of the fence posts/stone walls. (This is completely optional) The image is of the lamps and I circled them. The lamp(s) turn off during the day and on at night!

Working stylish bird cage: I used this on my parrot in minecraft. You will need: quartz blocks, quartz slabs, quartz stairs, glass, a piston, a lever, and a sign (the sign is optional).

First you must make your foundation. Place one quartz block and then two quartz stairs on the left and right sides then place a quartz slab a block up (leave a hole in the middle). Place a piston near the bird cage base (two blocks away) but not in the empty hole. Then make your parrot sit in the hole. Then place glass on the piston (so it will be pushed into the hole. Place a block on the other side to keep the parrot from being pushed out. Activate the piston. Afterwards destroy the piston. Place a sign on the bottom block of the bird cage starting the parrots name (optional). Place a barrier block on both sides of the glass. You can place two slabs of your choice connected to the slab on the top of the bird cage and place signs around them to make it look like a shelf (optional). Bunk bed: for this you will need two beds, four trapdoors or two doors (your choice), signs, and any block you can put a bed on top of. Preferably dirt. Place two dirt blocks and then put a bed on top of them. Then destroy the dirt blocks and place another bed where the dirt blocks used to be. Then place two trap doors or one door on the end of the bed and at the base of the bed. Then place blank signs on both or just one side of the bed.
