lets say you want to build a modern house, or already have one built, and want to make it the best it can be.

lets say you want to build a modern house, or already have one built, and want to make it the best it can be.
1.Starting the house: To start a modern house, DO NOT grab plans from the internet, modern houses are supposed to be unique and random, start by making different shapes and putting them together to make weird shapes.
2. Adding depth: Modern houses normally have alot of depth and few detail. so add some depth to your houses, dont make them just plain, go crazy, build the best house you can make, modern houses can always be made better.
3. Exterior: Modern houses have simple exteriors, normally, people place bushes on top of fences, etc. make a little path to the house from the sidewalk to the entrance of the house, make it interesting.
4. Interior: Modern houses have very simple and minimalistic interiors, normally, people use World Edit and single player commands for interiors, so if you have those, use them, dont make a very complicated interior, it will look weird.
5. Wrapping it up: add final details and do last minute adjustments to the house, like adding fountains, etc. and Bam, you have yourself a modern house!
