To Diamond, or not to Diamond?

Introduction
Diamonds, unless you're very new to PMC you probably already know what they are. It's possible you already give tons of diamonds and it's also possible you don't ever give any. You might even be in between where you only give them to Poplreels or super popular submissions. No matter who you are this Blog is for you (dramatic music comes on) So the real question is here:

To Diamond, or not to Diamond?
(That is the Question, btw)

Skins
     1. You see a neat skin. Intrigued, you go and check it out. After looking at it, you decide it's not something you want to download, and you continue to a different one.
     2. You see a skin and Download it! But, you decide it isn't very popular/perfect/other so you leave the skin diamondless. If you Download, you should almost always diamond (with the except of downloading to find something wrong with it).
You see my point? You could've diamonded those. They interested you and the owner may have worked hard. There is no point in not diamonding, you see? The diamond button is not reserved for Popreels and Perfection.

Subscriptions
You enjoy someone's submissions, so you sub them. As they post you look at their submissions, but, for one reason or another, you never diamond them. Why you are still subscribed to them is beyond me. Diamonding isn't only a 'Like' button, it's also showing support. There has never been, and probably never will be, a limit to the diamonds you can give.

But Why?
"Why diamond?" I hear you cry. "It's not something required or necessary!" Well, stop crying and I'll explain: We were meant to give diamonds. Proof? There's even an Achievement called 'Diamonds To You'! I know sometimes we give it and tell them just to give it back so we have the Achievement, but Minecraft wants us to give diamonds, and this is the Planet of Minecraft so applies here too!
     So . . . DIAMONDS TO ALL!

To . . . Not Diamond?
I agree, sometimes we should leave something diamondless. It may be stolen work or break a submission rule. It may have taken literally no time to make and took little to no effort.
Yes, many people on Planet Minecraft don't even have accounts, therefore they cannot diamond. It's true, you can't expect the same amount of diamonds as views, that would make popularity inaccurate.
And, of course, if you dislike, or disagree with a submission that would be a reason to not diamond.
But face it, some amazing PMCers are going unnoticed. Let the rain of diamonds begin!

Help!
"But wait!" some will shout. "I don't care about anyone! Why should I diamond?" Well, let me tell you how diamonding other can benefit you.
I'm serious, when you diamond someone, they get a notification. They check and see who did it and click on your name (more common with, but is not limited to, smaller members) and go to your profile. The odds are if you are as good as them or better and make the same things, they will subscribe to you.
I guarantee this can happen. I have tons of proof. Sometimes I just go through blogs and skins, diamonding half a million of the good ones and I get some more subscribers. TRY IT.

Conclusion
So you've heard the when, the when not, and the why.

If you have any thoughts or complaints, or illnesses just comment down below.

     Thanks for reading . . .

On a completely unrelated note: Do British people know how lucky they are to have a British accent? Like, do they? Some people try, and try to have a British accent, but some are just born with it, is that luck or what?
