I think (and I think you will agree as well)that Minecraft is advancing to fast. They are introducing to many stuff so quickly. When I joined(Which was a few weeks ago)I was very confused. my cousin said I had to do some stuff to do this(cant remember what it was)when I finally got it they had a whole new way.
I think that Mojang should slow down I still cant do most of Red stone properly with out looking for help with it.All the time I have to go on servers to ask questions from other people and some times they don't even know.

Major updates
(Which takes about 2-4 months to make)
They add new items and a bunch of stuff. like the new update that is coming out soon, which is 1.8. That Update will be adding a new skin format, New blocks, new commands, and barely any redstone related stuff. Like 1.8 will only be adding 1 redstone related item, which is a Iron Trapdoor which you activate with redstone.
I hope you understand this now between Minor Updates and Major updates. Also you don't need to be a master at minecraft, I'm not that good with my redstone, and I suck at commands for command blocks. :P
