Choosing the right plugin for your server can be hard. You need to make sure it works, and has the things you need. I have put together a list of 5 great economy plugins that you can download from the Bukkit Website.
#5 : Fe
Fe is very easy to install, and has MySQL support. It works with a lot of other plugins aswell, and the commands that is provides are not bad. Sadly, it does not support buy/sell signs (buy and sell things by clicking on a sign). This is considered a basic economy plugin.
#4 : Economy Manager
This plugin has really gone a long way since its release. Although it provides basic commands, it also has buy/sell signs! If you're setting up shops in your server, this feature will be very useful to you. The plugin is pretty good overall.
#3 : Total Economy
This somewhat new plugin is moving foward pretty fast. So far the plugin is still in deep development, but it is being updated very often. Right now it provides basic commands (with the exception of jobs, those are pretty cool), but lots more will be added soon. I name this a plugin to watch.
#2 : HyperConomy
HyperConomy also has support for MySQL. The thing that's great about this plugin is the things you can do with it. Along with the regular commands, you can set dynamic taxes, make price floors/ceilings, allow player owned shops, and a lot more cool stuff to play around with. One of my favourites.
#1 : Essentials
Essentials is truly amazing. It provides basic economy commands with a few extras, but the great thing about Essentials is that it comes with so much more. The plugin comes with a naming plugin (to name people in the server), server warps, tp requests, core world protection, build control, and so much more! It's a complete package. Anyone who is running a server and wants everything should get this.
So, that's my list of the Top 5 Economy Plugins for Bukkit. I am very sorry if I missed any, I only had time to go through some, hopefully I can make an updated version in the feature. Diasgree with this list, or did I miss any? Post in the comments what you think should be on this list.
Thanks for reading!
