The end of The Beginning, Chapter 1

The tension hung thick in the air, a heavy blanket pressing down upon the group of fighters as they squared off against the formidable Troublemaker Sans. Dust, his frustration simmering beneath the surface, was the first to break the silence.

"Boss, why the hell are we even trying to fight this freak? None of us have managed to so much as scratch him!" his voice rang out, laden with exasperation.

But Nightmare, their leader, remained composed amid the brewing storm. "Don't worry," he assured them, "I'm just stalling for time. We need Insanity to arrive."

Troublemaker Sans, equally bewildered by the confrontation, voiced his confusion. "Why are you guys even fighting me?" he questioned. "I haven't done anything to you. My inventions are too strong to be dismantled by chumps like you! And then there's this 90s freak and the guy who claims to be the ‘epicest’ of them all."

Fresh & Epic interjected, eager to assert themselves. "You talking about us?" they chimed in unison.

Growing impatient with the lack of progress, Nightmare pressed for answers. "Also, where the hell is Patient Justice?! He’s supposed to be helping us kill these freaks!"

Killer, his voice heavy with resignation, sighed deeply before responding. "After he found out what we were gonna do, he ended up leaving."

Nightmare cursed under his breath, frustration bubbling to the surface. "Damn it! Why didn’t you say so earlier?!?!"

Killer bowed his head in shame. "He said he was gonna kill me if I said anything."

In the midst of their turmoil, Error emerged from a portal, wielding his strings like a puppeteer, pulling Nightmare and his crew with a swift motion. A mysterious figure materialized alongside them, oozing disdain and contempt.

"Ink," the figure addressed, his voice dripping with disdain, "perhaps you should assign them more suitable tasks instead of pitting them against adversaries they stand no chance against, DustDust."

DustDust wasted no time in heeding the suggestion, swiftly departing from the scene with a dismissive wave. Ink, unperturbed, followed suit, leaving behind a scene fraught with unresolved tensions and mounting apprehension.

Meanwhile, Troublemaker Sans found himself at the mercy of Error, desperately pleading for reprieve from his relentless pursuit. "C’mon," he begged, "just let me go and allow me to hide from my bro! I don’t want him to catch me!"

But Error remained steadfast, unmoved by Troublemaker Sans' pleas. "Why would I let you go?" he snapped back. "You’re a damn anomaly intruding in another universe!"

Fresh, unwilling to let Error's accusations go unchallenged, retorted sharply. "Why are you even talking about anomalies, Error? You yourself are an anomaly."

Error, undeterred by Fresh's defiance, launched into a fiery tirade, his anger simmering just beneath the surface. "That doesn’t even matter!" he declared vehemently. "You’re even worse than me! You’re literally just an annoying parasite that wants to spread your ‘virus’ or something. I'm here to eliminate that anomaly covered in oil or something."

Epic, ever the peacemaker, stepped forward to defend Troublemaker Sans. "He honestly did nothing wrong," he asserted firmly.

As Troublemaker Papyrus continued his relentless pursuit of his brother, the tension escalated further. Epic attempted to distract Error, firing off two blasters in his direction, but his efforts were in vain as Error retaliated with three blasters of his own.

Just as chaos threatened to consume them, Fresh intervened once more, seizing control of Error's body. "Let's get outta here while I can still control this guy," he urged, leading them to safety amid the swirling turmoil.

Amidst the chaos, Epic couldn't resist boasting about his latest achievement. "Yeah," he proclaimed with a grin, "we just need to wait for Ink though. Also, that's pretty epic, my brah. Not as epic as me though, bruh."

Nightmare, ever the skeptic, scoffed at Epic's bravado. "Tch, not even Error can beat that weirdo guy who's with Epic and Fresh for some reason."

Filled with newfound information, DustDust chimed in, eager to share his insights. "Apparently his name is Troublemaker Sans," he divulged. "He seems unable to use any special powers, relying instead on indestructible inventions similar to our abilities. Just like his name suggests, he is quite the troublemaker and quite the nuisance because of his so-called inventions."

Killer added his thoughts to the mix. "He has to be stronger than that newbie from earlier," he speculated, his mind already racing with possibilities.

As the conversation continued, each friend shared their insights and speculations about the enigmatic Troublemaker Sans, unaware of the storm that was brewing on the horizon.

Meanwhile, in their hideout, the group of villains found themselves locked in a tense standoff, their frustrations boiling over into heated arguments. DustDust's revelation had left them speechless, their expressions a mix of frustration and fear as they grappled with the implications of his words.

As tensions mounted toward a crescendo, a figure cloaked in mystery materialized before them, casting a looming, foreboding shadow over their uncertain future.

Ink, Patient Justice, and Fresh!Error had painstakingly traced Nightmare's hideout through the labyrinth of Error’s memories, driven by the dual purpose of forging a truce or vanquishing their adversaries. Their journey had been fraught with obstacles, yet their resolve remained unyielding, fueled by the urgency of their mission.

However, an unforeseen glitch in PJ’s teleportation maneuver whisked them away unexpectedly to Marutale, a realm fraught with its own mysteries and dangers.

Emerging from the swirling portal, Ink and companions found themselves confronted by Troublemaker Sans, a character known for his unpredictable nature. His gaze bore into them with a mix of curiosity and suspicion, setting the stage for a tense encounter.

"What brings you to this place, Ink?" he queried, his voice tinged with doubt.

"It's quite the saga," Ink replied wearily, his tone reflecting the weariness of their journey. "A hiccup in PJ's teleportation process, likely due to external interference."

Fresh!Error chimed in, adding his own unique perspective. "Error's glitches turn wrangling him into a Herculean task," he remarked, his words tinged with a touch of resignation.

Upon parting ways with Error, Fresh faced the disgruntled entity, their exchange crackling with tension. "DO NOT ATTEMPT THAT AGAIN," Error warned, his frustration palpable.

In an oddly whimsical rejoinder, Fresh adopted a light-hearted tone, masking the underlying tension with a veneer of levity. "Hey there buddy chum pal friend buddy pal chum bud friend fella bruther amigo pal buddy friend chummy chum chum pal. I don't mean to be rude, my friend, pal, home slice, bread slice, dawg, but I gotta warn ya, if you be rude like that again I'm gonna have to diddly darn snap your neck. And wowza, wouldn't that be a crummy juncture, huh? Do you want that? Do you wish upon yourself into physical experience with a crummy juncture? Because friend buddy chum friend chum pally pal chum friend, if you keep this up, then well gosh diddly darn, I just might have to not get so friendly with you, my friendly friend pal, friend buddy chum pally friend chum buddy."

Error, visibly perplexed, responded, "Uh, well, you’re lucky we can’t leave for like a day or I’d be out of here."

Troublemaker Sans chimed in, extending an offer to show them around. "Well, uh, I'll show you guys around, I guess."

With that, Troublemaker Sans began to lead them on a tour of his AU.

As they strolled, Troublemaker Sans provided insights into various parts of his AU. "We’re currently in Snowdin. Further back lies the ruins, and extending up to about half of Waterfall is Queen Toriel's kingdom. Past that is Asgore’s kingdom. I wouldn't recommend going there though; they’re a bit hostile."

PJ Sans noticed something and plucked a wanted poster of Troublemaker off a tree.

Somewhat puzzled, PJ remarked, "Are you also an outlaw in your AU?"

Troublemaker Sans confirmed, "Yeah, sorta."

PJ Sans was rather elated. "At least I'm not the only one."

Fresh suggested a mischievous idea. "That sounds kinda dope. Maybe we could commit a few 'atrocities' and get chased by that brother of yours who’s always after you."

Ink interjected angrily, "NO, WE ARE NOT COMMITTING ANY ATROCITIES."

Troublemaker chuckled at the exchange.

Then, Troublemaker Sans offered them shelter for the night. "Anyways, I'll let you stay in my shed for the time being."

Fresh, looking a bit disappointed, scratched his head. "Can’t we party a little?"

Error chimed in sarcastically, "Oh yeah, sure, let's totally party with a parasite."

However, Troublemaker declined Fresh’s offer. "I would be up for a party, but it’s a bit too late currently."

Ink then declined Troublemaker Sans' offer. "We’re probably just gonna stay at the Snowed Inn instead tonight."

The next morning arrived swiftly, and Ink and the others departed from Marutale.

As the dim light of DustDust's portal flickered to life, casting an eerie glow in the shadowy surroundings, tension crackled in the air. DustDust's voice sliced through the silence, commanding and determined.

"Lets go after those freaks now," he ordered, his words reverberating with conviction.

Nightmare's nod was resolute, his eyes gleaming with the same determination. "Sure," he replied, his voice a low rumble in the stillness.

With measured steps, Nightmare and his crew traversed the threshold of the portal, stepping into a realm teeming with peril and uncertainty.

It didn't take long for Nightmare and his crew to stumble upon Ink and the others, the collision of their opposing forces igniting an immediate confrontation.

"Killer, you go first," Nightmare directed, his tone brooking no dissent.

Killer complied without hesitation, his movements swift and calculated as he crept up behind Fresh, delivering a lethal blow without remorse.

"One down," Killer declared, his voice devoid of emotion as he launched into a relentless assault of blasters.

PJ, seizing the opportunity, countered with a few blasters of his own before slipping away in search of reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Ink fortified himself with vials of potent energy, launching into a relentless barrage of blasters and slashes aimed squarely at Killer.

Though Killer managed to evade some blows, Ink's onslaught left its mark, inflicting small yet noticeable wounds.

"Stop just spamming your attacks! It’s gonna get you nowhere!" Killer snapped, his frustration palpable as he struggled to maintain his composure.

Just as Ink prepared to deliver a decisive blow, Nightmare intervened, his tentacles snaking out to restrain Ink and halt the battle in its tracks.

Chaos erupted as Dust materialized, unleashing a barrage of bones and blasters before retreating at Nightmare's command.

Fresh!Error's sudden appearance further muddled the fray, complicating an already volatile situation.

With the arrival of PJ and Cross, the conflict escalated to a fever pitch, each side locked in a desperate struggle for supremacy.

Nightmare's frustration boiled over as he cursed Killer for allowing reinforcements to arrive, while Ink breathed a sigh of relief at the prospect of survival.

But the battle was far from over. Horror launched a frenzied attack, severing PJ's arm with a careless swing.

Undeterred, PJ pressed on, determined to rally reinforcements and face Horror head-on.

As the conflict reached its zenith, Nightmare's patience wore thin, driving him to take drastic measures to secure victory.

In the aftermath of the clash, Ink and his companions were left to contemplate their next move, their resolve tested in the face of overwhelming odds.

With DustDust's escape leaving them reeling, Ink knew they needed to regroup and devise a plan to recover and find new allies in their ongoing battle against evil.

"Why the hell did DustDust have to appear? We were as good as won if he hadn't shown up!" Ink's frustration echoed through the air, a testament to the setback they faced.

Patient Justice, ever composed amidst the chaos, replied, "Never mind that. Get me to my AU so I can load my save and heal." His voice carried a sense of calm determination, a stark contrast to the turmoil surrounding them.

Nodding in agreement, Ink swiftly teleported PJ to his AU. Moments later, PJ returned, fully healed and ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As they gathered to discuss their next steps, PJ's question hung in the air. "Well, what's our next move?" he asked, his eyes scanning the group for answers.

"We need to recover and acquire new allies," Ink stated firmly, his resolve unwavering despite the obstacles they faced.

Fresh interjected with a note of urgency, "I also require a suitable vessel. If I could possess someone like Error or perhaps even DustDust, I'd be in better shape."

Ink acknowledged Fresh's concern before proposing their next course of action. "Agreed. For now, let's return to Marutale. Perhaps Troublemaker would entertain the idea of letting me possess him for a while."

With determination fueling their steps, Ink conjured a portal to Marutale, leading the way with PJ and Fresh close behind.

Stepping through the portal into the unknown landscape of Marutale, the trio braced themselves for the challenges ahead. Despite the uncertainty of their surroundings, their resolve remained steadfast as they embarked on their quest to recover, regroup, and seek out new allies in their ongoing battle against the forces of evil.

The War for the Light or The Dark

The moment the camera switched on, it captured the eerie sight of a black skeleton slowly walking away from it. The skeleton's bones were dark and appeared to be charred, almost as if they had been through a fire. Maybe that was just its bone color. Its eyes glowed a menacing yellow, adding to the already spine-chilling scene. The sound of its footsteps echoed through the air, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who witnessed it.

"I have a statement," said an unknown voice. "This is being broadcast to everyone across the Omniverse. Firstly, I AM GOING TO TAKE OVER THIS PITIFUL OMNIVERSE AND MAKE ALL OF YOU BEG FOR MERCY" The Skeleton laughed maniacally as the camera floated, the image became more static, and the skeleton walked closer. Soon after, the camera cut and the transmission ended.

Nightmare was confused and worried. "Uh, who the hell was that?" DustDust was also quite confused, though not worried at all. "Probably just a guy who thinks he's strong enough to kill me, 404, and many other strong guys." Nightmare thought about it a bit more. "Yeah...they can't be that strong at all." Insanity just stared at them. "C-can we go and kill 'em? I-I want some free exp..." Nightmare seemed worried once again. "Insanity? Are you okay? Did your drugs start to wear out?" Insanity kept staring intensely at them. "Hehehe...HAHAHAHAHA! W-what drugs? I-I don't know what you're talking about!!" Dust pat Insanity. "It's okay, Insanity." Dust proceeded to rip out Insanity's soul and absorb it. "Useless piece of shit." Killer was in shock. "Dust! Why the hell did you do that?!?!" Dust sighed. "Isn't it obvious? He was useless to us." Killer was annoyed. "That doesn't matter!" Nightmare lost all his patience. "KILLER, SHUT THE HELL UP. I TOLD DUST TO DO THAT." Killer was confused. "Why, though boss! We've been traveling with him for years!"Nightmare was annoyed with Killer arguing “He.Has.Done. NOTHING FOR US IN THOSE YEARS. NOW GO AND GET US A NEW MEMBER”

"I don't know how to respond, but I'll comply, boss," Killer said obediently. After Killer left to find a new member, Dust let out a sigh of relief. "Finally, we got rid of that useless and insane fool," he said, to which Horror agreed. "Yes, but now we have to find someone to replace him," Horror added. Nightmare interjected, "That won't be a problem. I already know we can find stronger people who are willing to help our cause." Suddenly, Error appeared and offered to be their new boss. "I heard you needed a new member. Instead of a new member, how about a new boss?"Dust sighed and counter-offered “Howza bout you get us some easy LV first? Scratch that gets me the LV to be as strong as DustDust and I’ll agree”

Error became a bit annoyed and said, "Then once you do, you have to get me in contact with 404 so that I can strike a deal with him." Dust immediately agreed, saying "Sure." However, Horror was confused as he wasn't included in the discussion, and he asked, "Hey! What about me?" Dust sighed and replied, "We will work out what to do with you later, Horror." Nightmare then interrupted, saying, "ENOUGH! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?" Error blasted Nightmare, saying "Shut it, you clump of negativity. Remember, you’re my right-hand man." Although Nightmare had a hole in him, he regenerated just fine. Nightmare was pissed off but knew he didn’t stand a chance against Error “Yes sir.”

Error and the others left to gain a lot of experience points for Dust. As soon as they had left, Ink, Patient Justice, and Fresh arrived at the hideout. Ink sighed, "Dang it! They're already gone." Fresh shrugged, "Well, that's tough luck I guess." PJ nodded, "Yeah, let's just find some new allies. If they have Error with them, it will be hard to beat them." Suddenly, a black skeleton appeared in front of them with a huge grin on his face. Ink asked, "Who are you?" The black skeleton replied, "I can help you three if you want. For a price, that is." Ink sighed again and asked, "What's the price?" The black skeleton's grin grew bigger as he replied, "Help me destroy this wretched world." Fresh instantly took over Ink and attacked the black skeleton recognizing him

PJ used a Justice Blaster to stop Copycat from hurting anyone else. Fresh!Ink attacked the black skeleton and shouted, "You are not hurting anyone else, Copycat." Copycat shrugged and disappeared. Fresh separated from Ink and Ink was confused. "How did you know him?" Fresh explained, "One day, he appeared in an alternate universe I was visiting. Within a few minutes, everything was gone." PJ was in shock and said, "You have to be lying." Ink remembered something and said, "No, he isn't lying. Copycat randomly appeared in the Doodle Sphere and entered another alternate universe. Within a minute, the universe disappeared from the Doodle Sphere." All of a sudden, there was a huge explosion and they had to flee.

Copycat suddenly appeared before Error and started attacking him. Error was confused and asked, "Copycat?! Why are you attacking me?" Copycat laughed and said, "Isn't it obvious? I need more power!" Error and the others fought back against Copycat, but their attacks didn't seem to have much effect. Copycat then inflicted a major wound on Error, leaving him weak and helpless. Panicking, Error urged the others to run, saying, "We can't risk it. He's too strong for us." They fled, barely surviving Copycat's assault.

It has been a peaceful two years, but the multiverse is in ruins and AUs have been destroyed behind the scenes. Dust has become another DustDust, and Error is still in the early stages of his training despite intense training from 404. Nightmare is missing, and Killer has gone insane after losing his main friend and someone he cared about. Horror is following in Dust's footsteps and is only interested in food. The good guys have started to find allies. Patient Justice has changed his name to William and is seeking a master for training. Ink and Fresh have found strong allies to help defeat Nightmare and his crew. Behind the scenes, the skeleton from the video has revealed himself as CopyCat, also known as Adam. Adam is a powerful individual, perhaps too powerful. Before we continue the story, let's take a look at what has happened in the last two years.

Patient Justice let out a sigh and said, "Please train me. That's all I ask. I need the power to protect the Omniverse!" The mysterious skeleton seemed annoyed and replied, "I already said no. I am already training someone else. Why would I waste my time training you when I have my true student?" Patient Justice was desperate and pleaded, "At least show me someone else who is as strong as you." The mysterious skeleton let out another sigh and said, "Fine. Go to the Doodle Sphere and ask for the King of the Omniverse." PJ grinned happily and said, "Okay!" He opened a portal and went to the Doodle Sphere. Ink noticed PJ entering and asked, "Oh, what are you doing here?"PJ was excited and practically bouncing up and down as he replied, "404 told me to ask for the King of the Omniverse!" Ink was shocked but said, "Uhhh, okay." He then asked King Omniverse to come see him in the Doodle Sphere.

King Omniverse is quite annoyed and exclaims, "WHAT!" when Ink tells him that 404 wants him to train Patient Justice. PJ waves at KO, but Ink shakes in fear. King Omniverse agrees to train PJ, saying that he has nothing to do for a long time and that 404 did him a favor, so he will do the same. King Omniverse takes PJ to The Oblivion and becomes serious. He asks PJ to abandon his current name, scarf, and everyone he cared for except Ink, Fresh, 404, and other powerful allies that he could potentially teach. PJ is confused, but King Omniverse becomes annoyed and orders him to do it or he won't be trained by him. PJ agrees to do whatever he says and is renamed William. KO tears off PJ's scarf and erases it. William is shocked and doesn't know what to do, but KO snaps at him and tells him that nobody cares about his family or his brother. KO then changes William's clothes to those similar to Error 404's and gives him the Hate soul and an Omniverse soul. The latter allows KO to know William's whereabouts at all times and lend him some of his power. William nods in agreement. King Omniverse is now happy and proceeds to train William. He tells him that he will spar with him every day for two years and teach him some abilities.

William remembered something and asked, "What about Flowey?" He opened his coat to reveal a pocket inside, and Flowey popped out of it, looking annoyed. "Why did you wake me up?! I told you I was going to take a nap!" KO got annoyed and told Flowey to be quiet. William explained that Flowey was his right-hand man. KO agreed to work something out and offered to train Flowey with William. Suddenly KO attacked William, who retaliated with a soul-infused blaster. KO dodged the attack and defeated William instantly. He then explained the right way to attack by trapping the opponent in a box first. William acknowledged and continued sparring with KO for hours until he was exhausted and injured. He had even lost a tooth and the code over his eye had started to crack.
A mysterious skeleton began narrating, "What about the big bad? Let's see what's happening with him." Screams could be heard from every corner of the town, followed by a massive explosion. Silence followed, and everything was now pitch black, just a void. Copycat laughed in joy, "HAHAHAHA!! NOBODY CAN BEAT ME! THEY ARE ALL TOO WEAK!" He continued to laugh and looked at the players (The readers), "I know you're watching me. You love to watch others suffer, don't you? You humans are truly pitiful." And then he disappeared. Dust yawned, "This is boring. We're getting away scot-free because Ink and Fresh don't have their little buddy." Error interrupted abruptly, "At least we aren't going to be at risk of getting killed for a while." Horror agreed “Yeah, especially Adam. He’s probably making people suffer more than we are as well.” Killer seemed to also agree “Yeah, Yeah. Let’s just get this over with.” Error and his crew proceeded to eliminate the rest of the humans and monsters alive then disappeared from the AU.

Ink left the doodle sphere meeting up with Ink and their new allies “So, Is everyone here?” Fresh nodded “Yep! We all up in this place broski” Ink wanted to make sure “Let’s just make sure.” Fresh chuckled “Whatever ya say boss” Ink smiled then proceeded to do roll call “I know Fresh is here so, Underfell?” Underfell raised his hand. Ink spotted him and nodded “Are the Glitchtale Trio here?” Glitchtale Chara, Frisk, and Asriel raised their hand. Ink checked it on his roll call list. “Is Epicshift!Cara and Asriel here?” They raised their hands. Ink lit up “Everyone from the spear division is here finally!” Underfell chuckled “What do ya expect we’re going on our first-ever mission. Plus I'll get to see their wretched faces twist in pain” Ink scratched his head “Well, that's a little violent. Fresh laughed “Well, Now we got the Ember division.” Ink nodded “Dust Trust? You here” Dusttrust raised his hand. Ink looked over the list “Uhhh, Well that the only one we got for that division right now so, secrecy division…Geno?” Geno raised his hand. Ink checked Geno off “Alpha?” Alpha raised his hand. Ink sighed “This is taking way too long so, let's speed this up. Apex Division. Error!Frisk, Slash!Sans, Delta, Ultra, and Cross” They all raised their hands “Cross, Get up here!” Cross went to Ink and Fresh. Ink Smiled happily “Since PJ is busy you’ll take his place for now!”. Cross Nodded. Ink Looked through the list “Well, Now we got our strongest members. Seraphim and ErrorShift Chara.” They both raised their hands though it was obvious Seraphim was there

Ink looked around “Okay so, That is the fighters and secrecy people. Now for our first responders. Reapertale Toriel, Underswap Asgore, Science Sans, and finally Echotale Frisk.” They all raised their hands. Ink nodded “Now we got our allies, guards, Leaders, and Special members. Cross your turn.” Cross nodded “So, we got Reaper Sans, Reaper Muffet, PaperJam, and the AU Hardtale for allies. Now for the special members. Classic Sans, Storyshift Chara, Underswap Papyrus, Kris, and finally Frisk.” Everyone raised their hand. Ink smiled “Wowie! We got along like everyone here. You guys obviously know the Leaders but let me say them. There is me, Ink, Fresh, and Fresh. The leader of the Spear and Ember members is Cross. The leader of the Apex and Preeminent Division is me. I also am the leader of the HQ Guards but not the Captain. Also, we technically aren’t the leaders of any divisions just, The Sentinel for the division(s). While the leader for Spear is Underfell. The leader of the Ember is Dusttrust as he is the only one. The leader of Secrecy is Alpha. The leader for Apex is Cross. The leader for Preeminent is Seraphim. The leader of the guards is Storyfell Asriel. The leader of Exigency is Reaper Toriel. While the Boss is busy. Some of you have met him but most haven’t.” [ps. This is months after the explosion]

Ink had checked everyone on his list. “Well, I guess we got everyone. For now, we only need the Spear, Ember, and Apex Divisions. None of us leaders will be there besides the Division leaders.” Everyone said yes. The Spear, Ember, and Apex Division Departed using a portal Ink had created. Error was attacking a powerful AU with his own team. A mysterious skeleton tapped Ink’s shoulder “Hey, There old friend. Been a few months hasn’t it? I got a recruit for us.” Another mysterious skeleton came from behind the other one “Don’t call me a recruit. I’ve been doing this crap for longer than you have.” Ink was confused and looked at both of them “PJ why the hell did you bring King Omniverse here!”. William sighed “It’s not PJ no more. I'm William now. Also, he said he wanted to train all of the attacking divisions and guards. King Omniverse said he would train us leaders and sub-leaders then have some of his guards train each division which were personally trained by him so we can last Error’s attacks. But, said he won’t interfere with the war.” Ink lit up in joy “I thought I’d have to train all these guys by myself but now I don’t!” King Omniverse got slightly annoyed “Stop acting so happy go-lucky. This multiverse is a shit hole. Worse than the other ones.” Ink was quite surprised “How? The last time I checked in with the protector of the Omniverse he said that we were doing amazing and better than the others and that was quite literally just yesterday!” KO got annoyed “Well, We got a report of multiple multiverses being destroyed. So far 10 have been destroyed in the span of a few months. Every day their destruction gets faster and faster. For me it doesn’t matter much but, after a year I predict that half of the multiverses that exist will be gone and then I will care.” Ink sighed “Well, Once the Spear, Ember, and Apex Divisions are back let’s start training!” KO nodded

Underfell and Cross watched over their divisions from the sky while Cross also kept an eye on Dusttrust. Cross was standing on his sword while Underfell was standing on a large gaster blaster he called “Its name is the Beast” Cross was confused “What? ‘The Beast’ It’s big but to call it the Beast is pushing it.” Underfell got annoyed “SHUDDUP IT’S COOL UNLIKE BEING KNOWN AS THE X-EVENT.” Cross felt offended “YOU SHUDDUP YOU’RE WEAKER THAN ME YOU DICK! SO LISTEN TO YOUR SUPERIOR!” Underfell almost attacked Cross but stopped “FINE.” Cross noticed an enemy approaching and threw a slash at them instantly killing them “DON’T FUCKING INTERRUPT OUR CONVERSATION YOU FUCK.” Underfell was shocked “Well, that was entertaining. I’m gonna go and kill some of these cunts and torture them and make sure to have a truly cathartic kill” Undefell went off and attacked the enemies. Cross sighed “God that guy is a fucking psycho” The slaughter went on for a few minutes. The Sentinels had no casualties due to Underfell and Dusttrust taking the brunt of the damage. A bunch were severely injured while the rest got either slightly injured, scratched and cut a little, or didn’t even take damage. The Spear, Ember, and Apex Divisions returned to The Sentinels HQ.

Ink waved at them “We got a new member! He’s gonna be training all of us. Well, actually he will train the leaders and sub-leaders but will have his guards train you guys.” King Omniverse walked in front of everyone “I am King Omniverse and honestly im just doing this cause of boredom. I will have my weakest guards train the strongest division while my strongest guard will train the weakest division. So, basically, the division may be strongest to weakest while for training it’s flip-flopped and the strongest are training the weakest and the weakest are training the strongest.” Ink nodded “He has already trained PJ for a few months. KO had him abandon his old name and now PJ is William. We sent William on a mission and he finished it within 2 minutes all by himself. Now, some of you may be wondering who the Boss is that I mentioned. You can come out now sir.” A tall white skeleton with dark orange and dark teal glowing eyes in a black cloak with dark orange fur on one side and dark teal on the other walked from behind Ink. “Some of you know me as I was here in the early days of The Sentinels. But, most of you don’t. I am William. I have been trained by King Omniverse for a few months now. In just a few months I have mastered 2 styles of hand-to-hand combat and learned to infuse my SOULS into my attacks. You all will learn how to utilize SOUL power and how to use hand-to-hand combat effectively. You will also learn new attacks. Most of us have a special SOUL that can be utilized in attacks when you infuse your soul’s power into that attack. Such as Cross making his sword purple or red and launching purple or red slashes from it. It can be like Kris infusing their sword with their SOUL. You will receive special training if you have a soul with DETERMINATION. You will be trained with us leaders as you will be an important asset and member.” King Omniverse walked up then snapped summoning his guards and appointing them to each division “Training will start now. It will be the most intense training of your life even more intense than losing everyone you love and having to kill the one who committed this grave sin.” The training proceeded to start and what King Omniverse had said was quite true. Non-stop for hours on end, he forced them to train and train which continued for months on end until the year had come to an end though they did take breaks on traditional holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. They all received a gift from King Omniverse which ranged from weapons, clothing, jewelry, and many other things. There had also been some new members. Littletale Sans, Littletale Papyrus, Littletale Toriel, Littletale Asgore, and Littletale Gaster had joined from the Littletale universe. Littletale Sans, Papyrus, and Gaster had become Scientists for The Sentinels. A laboratory had been in construction for Science Sans already but had stopped until recently. Littletale Papyrus had been admitted into the Special Members of The Sentinels same with all the others from littletale. Littletale Toriel had become a first responder for the sentinels. Littletale Asgore had been added as an HQ guard. Everyone had grown stronger, especially William, Ink, and Fresh. The Sentinels are assumed to be the strongest group in the multiverse by quite a long shot. However, not everyone is sure due to Error having 404 and King Multiverse on his team. Though William is now assumed to be as strong as a weak Butterfly666. However, that doesn’t include his strength in phase 2 and his other form(s). From X-Tale, X-Gaster joined the science and secrecy divisions while X-Frisk and X-Chara joined the Apex Division as Captains to help manage the division. The rest of the recruits are still being processed and haven’t been revealed yet. Ink walked up in front of everyone. “Everyone. We have an urgent mission. I would do roll call but we don’t have the time. On this mission, we will bring the Apex and Preeminent Divisions and this time The Sentinels will be there. I am The Guardian. Fresh is The Trickster. While William is The King/Fighter.”. William walked up beside Ink “In this fight there will most likely be Error 404. We just hope there won't be Error 666 or we will all die in the end. Though we will most definitely lose many if we aren’t careful. Now, Let's go.” William opened a portal and went through with the others. The mission has now begun.

William instantly attacked 404 “YOU ARE MINE.” William started to punch 404 non-stop at high speeds infusing his souls into his fists. 404 couldn’t do anything at all. “STOP FUCKING HITTING ME.” 404 blasted William away “Of course you had to go against me. Don’t you want real power? And not just power from your souls?” William got pissed off “SHUT THE FUCK UP.” William launched himself at 404 hitting him with a point-blank beam. 404 tried to use an ability but it didn’t work “Wait, Why are my abilities not working?!?!” William laughed “I infused the beam with my patience soul. It stops you from using your abilities for 60 seconds.” 404 got annoyed “Fucking damn it!” William continued to punch the crap out of 404 sometimes blasting him with blasters. Soon enough the 60 seconds were up and 404 attacked him not holding back at all. He blasted William with blasters none stop “JUST FUCKING DIE ALREADY.” William didn’t even get a scratch until 404 himself slashed him with a bone and 2 of his health bars were gone which seemed to happen due to his guard being down. William clearly was shocked “You actually hurt me?...” One of his eyes flashed a dark blue while the other flashed a teal and yellow and he now had aura coming from him. William punched 404 knocking him out instantly. “I will spare your pathetic life. For now, that is.” Error caught 404 “Sir?!? Shit! He’s knocked out! Everyone retreat now! 404 was knocked out!” All of Errors crew instantly retreated surprisingly everything going well for The Sentinels. Nobody has seen Adam/CopyCat in months. He seems to have become passive at the moment. Though nobody is truly sure if he’s actually being passive. All they know is that the only AUs destroyed are the ones by Error and his stronger lackeys for a few months. Still, The Sentinels are glad they don’t have to deal with as many people coming in. Many AUs were destroyed due to the X-Event. So far none have been able to be restored yet. Though, They hope this can change and AU’s can be restored so people can return to their home. Everything was fine until 404 had woken up “DO NOT LEAVE YET.” 404 merged with Error and Error666 was born. “YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS WILLIAM.” 666 launched himself at William as he sighed “666. I AM STRONGER THEN YOUR FREAK ASS DO NOT EVEN TRY ME RIGHT NOW.” 666 proceeded to throw a punch at William but missed as William hit 666 and made him fly across Snowdin. William shot many blasters and beams at 666 then launched himself at him hitting him with a half-power punch almost knocking him out 666 blasted him away and used his strings to tie up William then shot hundreds of blasters and beams at him. William panicked as his HP was being whittled down though he soon got sliced taking his remaining HP or so he thought. His HP was somehow back to full and looked behind him seeing X-Gaster. “Don’t worry. We won’t let our boss and great friend die. We were able to make another Overwrite soul. So, I’m here to deliver it. You won’t be able to use overwrite as well as I can but, you can restore your health and maybe if you find even fragments of an AU you can restore it. I would but, I refrain from doing that at the moment.” William absorbed the soul and broke out of it “Now, I AM NOT GOING TO HOLD BACK.” William launched himself at 666 punching the hell out of him again soon launching him across Snowdin again then shooting hundreds of blasters and bones at him using it as a diversion to get up closer and knock him out one last time “I do not waste my time killing pathetic beings like you.” The sentinels proceeded to leave through William’s portal. Once they back to the HQ William collapsed due to exhaustion and sheer lack of HP. For the next few weeks Error’s team had stopped attacking AUs.

Copycat roamed through the empty void, relentlessly searching for the final monster until finally stumbling upon them. To his surprise, Copycat was brutally attacked by a dust version of Negatale Sans. "Negatale? Is that you?" Copycat questioned, his resolve momentarily shaken. However, any doubts evaporated when Negatale unleashed a blast at him, prompting Copycat to retaliate instantly. "Who the hell are you, and why did you do this? This was supposed to be my chance to kill the human, but you took it from me!" Negatale Sans exclaimed in frustration before being swiftly dispatched by Copycat. "Stop whining! Even your normal self wasn't as whiny as you," Copycat scoffed, leaving the AU behind as he moved on to his next target, Negativetale. With a single massive blast, he obliterated everything in sight. Upon noticing a portal opening, Negativetale Sans and some of Error's other members emerged, prompting Copycat to taunt them with manic laughter. In response, Negativetale Sans attacked Copycat, only to be erased immediately, shocking Error. "Damn! He got erased in one hit?! He might not have been that strong, but what the hell?!" Error exclaimed, witnessing the devastation wrought by Copycat's power. As Error's lowest division was erased and he retreated, Copycat reveled in pure joy before departing the AU to seek out his next victim. Moments after his departure, William entered the AU and restored it using OVERWRITE, observed from afar by a strange black and goopy flower. Though William felt little joy in the successful restoration, he returned to The Omega Timeline and informed X-Gaster of the outcome. Visibly surprised, X-Gaster remarked, "Hmmm, you actually restored it...Well, this is going to be interesting." Truly, the unfolding events were indeed fascinating.

Revelations of an Unfolding War

As a faint crunching of snow echoed through the air, the sound of footsteps drew closer and closer. The scene shifted abruptly to reveal a floating black orb. With deliberate intent, a hand reached out and tapped the orb, causing it to crack and then shatter into oblivion. In that fleeting moment, everything dissolved into a dark void.

Amidst the chaos, Adam couldn't contain his amusement. "Wow! I've truly outdone myself this time! With this power, I can obliterate an AU without leaving even a trace behind for restoration. Muhahaha! Now, that's good television." With a sly grin, he swiftly changed the channel.

Elsewhere, Error and another skeleton engaged in a fierce battle.

"How the hell are these infernal machines so resilient?" Error seethed, frustration evident as he failed to make a dent in his opponent's armor. "We have William and X-Gaster to thank for that! Their enhancements rendered my machines virtually indestructible to someone like you!" With a surge of anger, Error lunged at the skeleton, only to be thwarted as William intervened, swiftly pulling the adversary through a portal.

"Don't be foolish, Troublemaker," William cautioned sternly. "Allowing him to get close to you will only lead to your demise. And I refuse to face your loved ones, explaining how I let you perish. Consider yourself fortunate I allowed you to leave in the first instance." Troublemaker sighed dejectedly, lamenting his missed opportunity to showcase the prowess of his inventions. "But sir..."

William's smile softened. "For now, return to your AU. We'll notify you when there's a mission or updates on your invention upgrades."

Science Sans rushed towards William, excitement evident in his voice. "Sir! We've just developed a groundbreaking new energy source! You need to see this!"

William's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Well, don't keep me waiting! Troublemaker, scratch that, come along!" With brisk steps, William followed Science Sans, intrigued by the news.

As they reached the laboratory, Science Sans eagerly explained, "We've named it Starbreaker Energy. It's derived from the stars themselves, with Outer's assistance. He managed to persuade the stars to share a portion of their energy with us. And the results are astonishing—it amplifies the power of Troublemaker's blasters by a factor of five!"

Troublemaker's eyes widened in disbelief. "What! That's incredible. The most I could achieve on my own was doubling the power with my energy!"

Interrupting the conversation, Science Sans interjected, "In just a year or two, we could potentially harness Starbreaker energy to fuel everything in the Omega Timeline, especially with the implementation of fiber networks!"

William clapped his hands in approval. "This is remarkable news. Not only will it revolutionize our technology, but it will also propel us forward in unimaginable ways."

After fixing his coat, William made his way to the main area. Every eye in the room turned to him with reverence as he passed, a smile playing on his lips at the display of respect. Climbing onto the stage, he addressed the gathered crowd.

"It's been some time since Error's last incursion into an AU. Currently, our only recourse is to focus on restoring the affected AUs, as our technological capabilities have yet to evolve sufficiently. However, that may be about to change."

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, William continued, "Thanks to Outer's intervention, we've unlocked a new energy source—Starbreaker Energy, harvested directly from the stars themselves. Outer brokered a deal with the cosmos, securing their energy in exchange for aiding in AU preservation. As such, I'm pleased to announce Outer as the newest leader of The Sentinels, heading our Exploration division."

Outer stepped forward, radiating with pride. "It's an honor to stand alongside William, who wields the power to restore AUs. Together, we'll utilize this newfound energy to safeguard countless universes from destruction. And as for The Sentinels, we've also formed a new trio…”

William chuckled. "Yep, you heard him right. The new trio consists of Outer, Classic, and Underfell. They form the Upcoming Heroes Time Trio, distinct from the original Heroes Time Trio. With this addition, we now possess both iterations of the Heroes Time Trios. Thus, we have a total of four trios: the two Heroes Time Trios, the three original Sentinels leaders—still awaiting a name—and the Underverse Trio, comprising Ink, Cross, and Fresh."

Suddenly, William's tone shifted, his expression turning serious. "We're gearing up for war against Error's crew in the coming months. During this time, we'll intensify our training. Failure to survive the training will be solely on you."

A murmur of conversation broke out among the assembled group, irritating William. "SHUT UP. I'M NOT DONE TALKING YET." His voice cut through the noise, commanding attention. Adjusting his coat, he declared, "I intend to raid their hideout personally to capture their leaders. I WILL BE THE ONLY ONE GOING. We cannot afford any risks. The best-case scenario is my demise but with victory in the war. NOW. TRAINING WILL COMMENCE."

With that, William strode off to his office, where he encountered a peculiar, goopy flower. "Hehe...Going to war with Error? That sounds interesting..."

William sighed heavily. "This is tedious. There's nothing in this wretched world that brings enjoyment." The flower merely smiled before departing.

Suddenly, Adam materialized before William. "So, this is where you've been hiding..."

William jumped back in surprise. "How did you find this place?!?!"

Adam laughed dismissively.

"It was simple. You've been holed up here for years, and suddenly, a large organization, primarily consisting of individuals from the Omega Timeline, emerges. It wasn't hard to deduce your headquarters. Now then, I want to make a deal."

William adopted an offensive stance. "Say one wrong thing, and you're dead."

Adam sighed condescendingly. "You truly are an IDIOT. Why would I fear you?! I AM STRONGER THAN YOU. IF I WANTED, I COULD OBLITERATE THIS MULTIVERSE IN AN INSTANT. The only thing holding me back is that my realm resides within this multiverse. However, I'll extend my offer once more. Assist me in destroying this wretched world, and you can have all the fun you desire. You'll be able to obtain ANYTHING YOU WANT."

William reacted swiftly, unleashing a gaster blaster at Adam before charging at him to deliver a series of punishing blows. However, Adam was one step ahead, seamlessly evading William's assault while launching his own counterattack. With relentless precision, Adam rained down punches on William, each strike landing with brutal force.

Suddenly, Adam retrieved a menacing black bone sword, its wicked edges gleaming in the dim light. In a swift motion, he swung the sword, slicing across William's chest with a savage ferocity. The air crackled with tension as the blade met its mark, leaving a deep gash in its wake.

As pain flared through his body, William's aura erupted into a vibrant display of teal and yellow hues. The colors swirled around him, casting an otherworldly glow that seemed to dance with intensity. At times, his entire form seemed to be engulfed in teal or yellow, while other moments saw a mesmerizing blend of both colors intertwining across his figure.

Fueled by anger and determination, William's aura took on an ethereal quality, resembling flames flickering and dancing around him. The air around him crackled with raw energy as he channeled his emotions into his formidable power.

It was evident from the fiery determination etched on his face that William was beyond enraged. Every fiber of his being was focused on one singular goal: to overcome his adversary at any cost.

William, though less experienced in combat, refused to back down. He dodged and blocked as best he could, his movements fueled by instinct and a fierce determination to defend his territory. Papers scattered and furniture trembled as the office became a battleground of wills.

But for every strike William managed to deflect, Adam countered with two more, his skill and experience evident in every move. He toyed with William, dancing just out of reach before launching another relentless assault.

Despite the odds stacked against him, William refused to surrender. With gritted teeth and a steely resolve, he fought on, drawing upon reserves of strength he never knew he possessed. Each blow he weathered only fueled his determination to stand his ground.

As the battle raged on, the office bore the scars of their struggle. Shattered glass littered the floor, and the once pristine walls were marred with the impact of their blows. Yet still, they pressed on, locked in a desperate struggle for dominance.

In the end, it was Adam's superior skill that proved to be the deciding factor. With a final, devastating strike, he sent William crashing to the ground, the force of the blow reverberating through the office.

As William lay there, battered and bruised, Adam stood over him, victorious. But despite his defeat, there was a fire in William's eyes, a determination that refused to be extinguished. And as he struggled to his feet, he knew that this was far from the end of their conflict. For in the crucible of combat, he had discovered a strength within himself that would carry him through whatever challenges lay ahead.

"No. I'm not done yet," William declared, his voice strained with exhaustion. Despite being battered and bruised, he refused to yield. There was too much at stake; he couldn't afford to give up, not now, not ever. It wasn't just about himself—it was about the fate of the entire omniverse.

Adam peered down at William with a mixture of pity and amusement before erupting into maniacal laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! Do you truly believe you can defeat me, especially after enduring such a thrashing?" he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery.

Undeterred, William met Adam's gaze with a defiant glare. "Yes, I do. Because I'm not finished yet," he retorted, his determination unwavering.

Adam's laughter echoed through the room once more. "PFFF- HAHAHAHA. You really do like to put on a brave front, don't you? I thought that was just a rumor. HAHAHAHA!"

As William collapsed to the ground, his body trembling with fatigue, he struggled to maintain his composure. Gasping for breath, he managed to muster the words, "Huff...huff...Fine, you've won this time. What do you plan to do with me now?"

Adam enveloped the room in darkness, his eyes glowing a vibrant yellow as a malevolent grin spread across his face. "I'll spare you for now," he hissed, his voice dripping with malice. "You amuse me."

As the darkness receded, Adam's true form briefly flickered into view, revealing eyes that seemed to emit flames and a smile that sent shivers down William's spine. With a playful tone, Adam remarked, "Oops, you caught a glimpse of my true appearance."

Before William could react, the light flickered back on, and Adam vanished, leaving him shaken and trembling with fear. Ink burst into the room, concern etched on his face as he helped William to his feet.

"Will! Are you alright? The door wouldn't open, it was like someone was blocking it," Ink exclaimed, his voice laced with worry.

William struggled to stand, leaning heavily on Ink for support. "Yeah, Adam paid me a visit. We fought, and he got the better of me... Don't engage him in hand-to-hand combat. He's far too skilled at it. He overwhelmed me," William admitted, his voice tinged with defeat.

Ink's eyes widened in disbelief. "What! He overwhelmed you? You're our best hand-to-hand fighter, the best in the multiverse," he exclaimed, shocked by the revelation.

William chuckled weakly. "Not anymore. Not by a long shot."

With Ink's help, William made his way to the infirmary, where he was met with concerned gazes from his fellow Sentinels. King Omniverse approached him, his expression a mix of concern and surprise.

"Goodness, what happened to you, William?" KO inquired, his voice filled with genuine concern.

William looked up at KO, exhaustion evident in his eyes. "Adam paid me a visit. He bested me in hand-to-hand combat. There was nothing I could do," he confessed, feeling a pang of shame at his defeat.

KO's surprise was palpable. "Wow. He defeated you in hand-to-hand combat? That's quite a feat. I can't think of anyone in the multiverse who could outmatch you," he remarked, impressed despite the circumstances. "But let's focus on your recovery for now."

Ink helped William onto a bed, urging him to rest. "Take it easy, Will. Don't push yourself," Ink advised, concern evident in his voice.

William nodded, grateful for his friend's support. As he lay in the infirmary, recovering from his injuries, he felt a renewed sense of determination burning within him. Despite his defeat, he refused to be defeated in spirit. With each passing day, he grew stronger, his resolve unyielding. For William, this setback was merely a temporary obstacle on the path to victory—a victory he was determined to achieve at any cost.
