This tutorial is to teach you how to play Minecraft with a gamepad
What you need:
Minecraft
Xpadder (trial version: click me)
a Gamepad (best would be an Xbox controller)
Step 1:
When you run Xpadder.exe, there is an error Unsupported Windows version detected. What you have to do now is:
Right click Xpadder.exe->choose option 3
then let Windows some seconds to find a solution and click: Try recommended settings
click Start Program->Start->choose a program location->Assiocate files to Xpadder
Now Xpadder should run. Then click the small gamepad icon at the left side of the window and choose New
After that a new window opens where you can add new buttons
to have an image of your controller there, you can download controller images at xpadder.com
example image:
(right click->save image as...)
now you have to set up the controller
example (text wont show up, its edited to show you an example)
I forgot two buttons, these are push left stick and push right stick, add them in the same way as all othe buttons
close the window, and we are ready for the final step
just set up the controller as you like to play with it
again, an example:
now click the controller icon and click Save as [name].xpaddercontroller
also works for joysticks and gamewheels
