Got news for y´all: I´m probably going to approach my design process for the Highway to Heck and Grateful undead pack a little differently.
I´ve never worked with this kinda stuff before so I´m learning a lot about it as I go along, and of course as I improve my already high standards also get higher.
To be honest I kinda don´t like a lot how some of the mobs look right now, and I plan on reworking and changing some stuff.
First, I used to go absolutely blind when starting a new mob. No sketch, no concept art, nothing, just some reference pics I could find online and Aseprite. That´s about to change. I want all mobs to look good, by themselves and together, I have themes In mind for each mob and each location, and this lackluster approach is making my life very difficult and my results not good enough (for me at least).
The texture packs are a passion project, but they are also a tool for me to learn and impove my skills as an artist, so I´m going to put a lot more effort into the process instead of rushing to results. Yeah, this means things will be slower. It also means they will be better and I won´t have the urge to change them every 2 weeks. I´m trying to find my "style" with pixel art, It´s such a difficult artstyle to master....
Anyway, here´s a wither and a wither skeleton concepts I´ve sketched today:

honestly not sure as to what else to say, i'm fine with updates taking longer than usual to arrive but aslong as it's not been rushed, it'll be worth the wait for me (i'll still take rushed updates though)
