IS VALENTINE'S DAY WORTH IT?

As a gamer, not a hardcore one, just a gamer, I find it weird on Valentine's Day, and never knew why. I used to walk to school everyday and watch couples kiss behind the bushes, which to me seemed a little alarming, like inside my head I had the thermal alarm from Tekkit just going "WOWOWOWOWO" and I would literally trip at that moment, that was usually the main highlight... But what put me off this year?

Well, currently I'm single and I'm not ashamed of it... I mean to be honest, right now I'm not looking for anything special. But today at school was different, I got a Valentine's off this girl I've liked for a while. Now being a guy, I was worried cause usually Valentines for me mean 2 things. Either 1. This girl had noticed that I like her OR 2. She want's to remain in the FRIENDSHIP ZONE... Now I was gonna ask her "Jenny, want to err... go see that new RomCom Warm Bodies" but then It happened... She gave me a hug and kiss on the face and then I blushed, and any girls out there know that when a guy blushes it means one thing... They are completely freaked by a good thing. Now (A word I say ALOT) I was at this point after she had walked past like "What the hell was that?" and I was already tripping from getting a detention for being late, but onto that later. The girl I generally liked kissed me and as a guy I had no perspective on what to say or do.. I was paralysed.

So the day goes by, and all I could think of is why she kissed me, on the cheek, not the lips, any dirties outta there, no it was not the lips but on the cheeks. Usually when a girl kisses someone on the cheek, it's friendly but her kiss was like an angel... Right now I'm still stunned, so I'll end this blog with this: What does Valentine's Day mean to you? And do YOU see any worth in it?
