Well I as a person find Planet mine crafts level system Inadequate for those of you not knowing what that is illt ell you.

What i think is the level system is stupid, not good and worthless. Because if someone has alot of friends and they SUCK the friend feel bad for him and diamond him this gets him xp and he goes to front page. Then since its u0p there people want to get this bad skin or project because its up front. Thus leading him to get more xp and become lvl 30 with 1 project, then they have no point to get better so they post more crap and the cycle repeats.

This is also a bad system because for lvl ones who are VERY skilled dont get any credits because... They are level one! thus screwing over his/her self esteem making them feel crappy and they stop posting good things. This prevents out mine craft community from growing. It makes everything so sad. I see the same crappy mods everyday on recently updated from who else famous people, and most of them aren't very good. I see horrible rants from lvl ones not knowing how to express this so they just scream READ MY BLOG or DIAMOND MY STUFF! which angers me because it disgraces the little guys even more..

So i write you PMC please take care of the little guys diamond good stuff even if you dont download it. Make them feel better. Please diamond this if you agree favorite me and let all of us here see this message. And to you all i bid you good night.

I agree with you.
As a new planetminecrafter -or whatever- I find it hard to see if someone is talented at doing things in minecraft, or if they are spamming posts of the same thing.  Of course I can't complain about not being noticed because I have had my account for three days, but I see what you are saying, and I see how a system like this can go wrong in the long run.

I just added capitals, added apostrophes, changed xp to experience, and changed lvl to level.

I too largely agree with the rant but find the grammar (that's grammar, with two Ms and an A) distracting. I also find it a tad ironic that you, bmyblake, said that success makes a PMC member stop striving to improve their projects, and then said "I like my gramer but thank you" - basically turning down an offer to teach you how to improve your writing, and thus matching the behaviour of those you condemn.


(I foresee a reply telling me that the grammar is none of my business and to stop being so uptight... ah well, I fear that the English language is a sinking ship.)
