With 1.13 having just come out and a lot of new features being added, some of which are great, and some of which are less great, here's a list of things I would like to see changed, added or removed entirely from the game. What would you like to see added, removed or changed to the game? Let me know in the comments!
Option to disable Phantoms
Phantoms are a great new addition to minecraft, it's the first flying mob in the overworld, they are used for repairing elytra's, and it gives sleeping a more useful purpose. But when you're not playing survival mode, but creative mode and you wish to just not have to sleep every few in-game days to prevent Phantoms from spawning a way to disable them would be great, for example a new gamerule: '/gamerule doPhantomSpawning false'. I know you can disable Phantoms by going in peaceful mode, but sometimes you want to build things which requires hostile mobs (For example some sort of museum)
Option to revert sponge back to how it used to be
Sponges and wet sponges are great items, they can be used for decoration purposes and drying bigger areas filled with water fast. But having to put wet sponges in a furnace once you've used one of them can be very annoying. So an option to revert them back to how they used to behave would be great, by a command for example. This can cause issues with the 1.13 water mechanics, but I'm sure the smart guys over at Mojang would be able to fix that.
New mobs
1.13 added a few new mobs, like the Drowned and the Turtle, however new mobs, like penguins, normal bears, tigers, lions and a few other mobs could really make minecraft feel a lot cooler.
Creative inventory
The creative inventory is great, you can find almost every block in the game in the creative inventory. There are a few exceptions, like the barrier, command blocks, structure blocks, smooth double slabs and more. It would be great to see these added to the creative inventory.
Automated nether wart fam
An option to automate nether wart farming would be great, for example being able to place nether wart via dispensers, this wouldn't be a significantly big change, but it would be nice for the more experienced minecraft players that want to automate as much as possible.
