Well there are heaps of online tutorials out there that explain how to fix your minecraft and also, there are custom launchers out there that can install it all for you.

Installing mods are now thanks to mojang and forge are just as easy as install forge by downloading and clicking install and then just drag your mods into the mods folder.. that simple. and if a mod doesn't work well then delete and try again with a different version of the mod.

Yes you have a point, but is it worth crushing the dreams of people who want to make good mods, of making them feel like there not good enough for the modding community, because to some people yes unique mods are good and by using modding programs it makes it easier to make their dream come true, because well yes it creates new items/blocks/ores, it also promotes the people who make these applications to add more features for the community which will make the modding community grow, just like how without mac and windows competing just think if they worked together we would grow alot slower because there is no competition, at least there will be competition with this because the modders will try and make something more uninqe because there crap of having the same mods as others so they will go out there and make better mods.

If someone isn't "tech savvy" about files, people could destroy their minecraft, and some don't know how to backup, how can you be passionate about something you wan't to do but don't how?
