Lolita fashion is about modesty.  We cover our shoulders and knees and are not revealing at all.

I won't go too into depth so you can go to LovelyLor on Tumblr's FAQ if you want to learn more.  PLEASE don't make any more lolita skins with the hang-strap shoulders!  It's so inaccurate and disrespectful in that it is NOT our fashion, create more misconceptions about us lolitas and shows you didn't actually look up what lolita REALLY is and consists of!!

Please portray this fashion correctly when making skins.  Preferably reference real lolita models (look up Angelic Pretty magazine and there should be some!).  Take the time at least to get the basic idea of lolita down.

What don't you see?

• Black dresses with white lace
  
• SHOULDERS.  Never shoulders!! >.<
  
• Knees that aren't covered by tights or the dress
  

This is an expensive, complex fashion that is precious to us lolitas.  People already think bad things about our fashion thanks to it sharing the title of Nabokov's book "Lolita" (oh jeez look it up... or not... ._.;; I really don't wanna explain it, it's really... sad and... um... different).
