What is your story of Minecraft? What do you think is so fun and entertaining about it? Who or what got you into the game?

About six or eight months ago my friend on PSN had told me about the game. I'd thought how I might had liked the game because I'd also thought about how much I loved building things with building blocks when I was little. So I decided to try out the game in classic mode to make sure i liked it. I joined a server with my friend justHarrison and after we built a large wooden castle-looking house I was awarded the rank of Builder by the host, Paradox. I decided to buy the game to see all the features and loved it. The first real server I joined was the Ballz Of Steel survival server. after a month or so I was awarded operator powers by that host, mudbill. I had then started to play on the server more, build more, and help more too. I was then awarded Moderator. After about one week after Minecraft Beta 1.8.1 was released I was then awarded administrator. After that I decided i would play the game until I got bored of it.
