What Makes Me a Minecrafter
Well, lets think... I'm not very good at PvP, I'm not good at building, I'm a noob at Minecraft controls, but there are a few things that DO make me a Minecrafter. I think that it doesn't matter if you're Minecrafting (Is that even a word? xD) skills are bad, and that being kind and respectful to other players is one of the important things about being a Minecrafter. (Sorry its long btw... especially to the judges, but to me, every word in this blog is important, so please read till the end!)
Ok, lets start from the beginning.
I moved to America when I was 1 year old, from Japan. I lived there until 9 and even though I'm Japanese, the U.S.A. felt, and still feels like my hometown. I had so many amazing friends that supported me, and it was possibly one of the hardest things to give up in my life. After I moved back to Japan, I started going to a Private school, and I thought that I would have an amazing time there as well. I was really hopeful, until I actually started attending it. At first, everybody seemed so kind, nice, and I had a blast with them. But after some time passed, I realised that they weren't my true friends. They distrusted me, and they even had the nerve to say it right in my face. They ignored me and said that I was うざい-Uzai meaning annoying, weird, horrible, and basically all the words that means describing you as a horrible person :P I felt like giving up on even just trying, until one Christmas.
My Grandmother bought me Minecraft for my Christmas present, and i was so happy because I had spent so much time burying my life in YouTube watching Minecraft YouTubers. When I got Minecraft, the first thing I did was to go on a server. When I joined, I was showered with kindness, and i made so many amazing friends. My friends on Minecraft made me forget about all my irl "friends" and I finally felt like I fit in again. We were all nerds, and Minecrafters.
Everybody was so kind to me, which inspired me to be like them. I was in a few fights with other Minecrafters, but in the end, we end up being friends. You guys may not believe it, but Tem (LeSqyuezzie) and I were once in this big fight, and I did say some pretty horrible things, but now I consider her as one of my Best Friends! Like I said, I believe that everybody should value each person's uniqueness, and remember that hurting others won't ever make you happy.
