Hey everyone,

Presentation - the gallery, writing, editing and more - means much to you projects. You can build such a big and great, detailed buildings, but WITHOUT a good discription, WITHOUT a good gallery or even no pics, you would NEVER reach so much as if you do have all these things. Spent hours, days on building/designing/writing (projects, texture packs, blogs) and spent 1-2 hours on uploading you project. You don't come on the front page with a bad image... In most times ;)
So i'm going to show you some things... For this example, I builded the most ugliest house ever (on-of-the) and I will give you some tips on posting a project - not that I have posted such a great posts - but i've watched PMC for a loooooooong time so I think you can trust me :D

Let's get started with the gallery, your pictures - it's VERY important! WITHOUT a good gallery you won't come far in the most cases. It is important to take quality screenshots, if you take for example just one block of you great house, no one could see it! Of course, you don't want that (I assume). When you're uploading a texturepack, it's a good idea to give people a overview of ALL blocks, and take screenshots of different biomes.

When you builded a unbelievable castle, you have to show the overview - of the interior, and of the exterior. Both. If you only show the interior no one will know where it is and if you only show the exterior the people won't know if the could sleep in it. So show both.

Make the best.

This is a very, very ugly house:



And a bad picture. You even don't see the whole house! And you see the interface...
This one is better:



This is the right corner. It's a good perspective... But this is just one block of blocks! Horrible. Let's give the house a little bit more by adding windows and details.



Ok, right, this looks a much better. But a texture pack would make it a MUCH better - if you get the right TP. If you do this will change the whole picture! You can see Skoartox Fanver:



But it's so empty... Adding some landscape like a garden will make it a LOT better...



As you can see I added a terrace, a hedge and a small fontain. Because I had no time now, I didn't added a real landscape but I filled the flat world with trees - that's enough for now.



Do you see? But this all isn't enough for the gallery - "Hehe, we will add some unbelievable shaders!!"







A warm welcome!

A header image is important. A edited image with text. But what is the ultimate header? Well, it's important that it give an overview of the WHOLE thing. It has to mean something. It has to be fantastic. Use shaders, a nice font, some effects and it's complete! Don't forget to use it as the first image in your gallery so everyone see it!
