Most people would complain about getting their virtual homes destroyed, but not hackers. In fact, they may be the cause of the damage and are gloating over it in some sauna in Bhutan! (The latter may vary) Anyways, after your shelter is demolished, you might ask: What drives these sorry hackers to do such a thing? and try reporting it to MineCraft or something. I have the answer to that question right here, right now. OK, maybe not right now but 2 sentences away. (By now you're probably shouting at the computer, GET TO THE POINT ALREADY!!!!) Hackers do not hack for money; nor any sort of prize. It isn't like the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo either, a hacker isn't a hero/heroine. Quite the opposite of that, actually. They do it for fame and fun. But still, why would they do such illegal things, risking their reputation and ego? Well, most of them live with diseases like Asperger's Syndrome or they think they're so savvy that they won't get caught. Most of them do, however, and that's the end of that. I guess this all I have for this blog... a little weak, wouldn't you say?

I dont even like the term hacker, especially in Minecraft as in client mods. They are mods. You arent hacking anything, just adding on to the client to give yourself an unfair advantage.
Also, before talking about hackers you should do your homework on the history of the term hacker.
Yes hackers may destroy your virtual home sometimes, but griefers do it a whole lot more. Hackers have better things to do with their lifes/skills then grief a Minecraft server, griefers are little kids that have no life and no skills.
