I recall playing Minecraft for the first time six years ago, it was absolutely life-changing. Ever since I was a kid I've been told what to do and how to do it, but after I started my first survival world everything changed. I started with nothing but my bare fists conquering land across many biomes and slaying every monster sent to intercept me. I saved villages from pillage and faced conditions only the most fierce warriors could overcome. Eventually, I became the king of my own world with the only limit being my imagination and tenacity. However, during my travels, I arrived at a state of all-encompassing boredom in which all activities that proceeded became unfulfilling. I thought to myself, "Is this really all life has to offer?". While pondering this thought I stumbled upon my original mineshaft, but this time it was different. To my surprise, I noticed a luminescence of purple light reflecting from what I believed to be the dead end of a cavern. Naturally, I began to gravitate toward the light out of curiosity, but unbeknownst to me, a large group of entities began to accumulate in the shadows. Moments later, a creature lunged at me. *slash* My sword swiftly pierced its body with unbelievable strength and accuracy like that of a jaguar. Afterward, I slipped back into my crane stance in preparation for the final blow. Perhaps what lies beyond that portal is the key to my salvation, I guess I'll have to find out.
