Have you ever thought why Steve is the only human in Minecraft i'll tell you why.
Let's first start with why the sun, and the moon rotate around the Minecraft earth even tho its infinite, and why do they rotate around you its like the whole world rotates around you. When Steve dies he respawn's or is reborn.
considering all of the previous claims (Steve is in a dream)
research stated that when a person dies in a dream two things could happen either he immediately wakes up before dying or a rare thing could happen which he will continue the dream, and according to his beliefs like after dying you go to heaven if you believe that you will dream that you will go to heaven, but in Steves case he believes that you will re enter this world again AKA respawn ,
and the other things like why the sun, and moon rotate on an infinite world or why the world rotates around you it is because dreams have weird rules. Now Steve might be in a coma or just another 8 hour nap because dreams have no sense of time but we know one thing that this is all a dream.
