Ok, I am going to be VERY honest with you guys, so if you can't handle that... just don't read this.
The reason that we (Arwin01 and I) are closing the SculptureCraft server is very simple: We want to have fun, and we want to build stuff. We tried it with a freebuild server, but it was filled with 12 year old kids, building a ugly 12x12 house and asking us to review it so that they could get a higher rank. The worst part is that they call you names when you say you hate the building... ITS FREEBUILD! BUILD SOMETHING HUGE!
That didn't work for us. So we made a survival server. The problem with that is, that your server get's occupied with people that are only asking questions, and obviously never heard of Google and totally ignore your answer "Take a look at the Wiki on our site, its all there...".
The only thing we were doing while we ran our servers, was answering stupid questions, helping people with stuff that is completely obvious, dealing with f**ng 8 year olds, thinking that their 8x8 dirt house is "Epic", while we are building a cathedral that doesn't fit between bedrock and clouds... We have spend over 300$ on rent of our servers.. and it was all a waste of money.
Don't get me wrong, there where good times and we have met some great people.. but we just want to build and have fun... with a public server, we can't. So we have a private server now, where we are going to build real epic projects and share this projects on PMC.
End of story.
