Recently, and by that I mean September 10th, news was released that Mojang may be bought by Microsoft. This at first worried me, as I felt that it would lose its touch, but what does this really mean for Mojang and the Players. As for Mojang, rumors have been recently going around that Notch was going to effectively resign, or leave Mojang. Mojang and Notch have decided against answering questions on the matter. For players, this worries them too. Because many big companies have bought other people’s games and turned it into just a big money flop and test sort of thing, this could cause Minecraft to lose its reputation, as well as its success, and creators and updates. Naturally players will be worried about this. Also this raises the question, why would Mojang sell in the first place, because Mojang approached Microsoft, not the other way around! Despite Mojang refusing funding from larger companies and offers to sell to other large companies as well, and making comments against Microsoft! I personally feel that they shouldn’t sell, but a deal could be struck by the end of the week reportedly. Now a question for you, what are your thoughts on this?
