Witch's Coven:
Witches are one of the trickier mobs in Minecraft to deal with due to their ability to use potions, and at present either spawn randomly or in a witch's hut structure. But while Witches can drop a number of useful items that can be worth defeating them (such as potion ingredients or even potions themselves), perhaps one might desire a higher challenge.
That is where this concept, the Witch's Coven, comes in.
Design:
Witch Covens would be similar in design to witch's huts, but with some notable differences. First off, they would be larger, and perhaps even having multiple floors. Probably about double the size over all. Second is the interior would, in addition to containing the expected materials from the basic hut in larger numbers, also contain a 'potion making' room. This room would contain more difficult to acquire potion making ingredients, such as Ghast Tears, Blaze Powder, and Magma Cream in the chests lining the room, as well as multiple brewing stands and premade potions ripe for taking. On the top floor of this structure would be a gold block as an additional prize. The structure as a whole would also be somewhat more well furnished than the meager dwelling of a singular witch.
Obstacles:
However, gaining these useful items would be made difficult by the inhabitants. In folklore, a coven of witches consists of 13 witches as an ideal, and this structure would be no different. At least 13 witches spawn with this structure, and the structure itself will contain at least two witch spawners. In order to reach their potion making chambers, one must make their way past these witches through combat, ingenuity, or brute force. As anyone who has tangled with a group of witches can tell, this would be no mean feat and take a good bit of effort to traverse.
Conclusion:
All in all, this seems like an interesting but simple idea that would fit with some of the other dungeons that have been added to Minecraft in recent updates and add a little flare to the witches for an idea for this contest. Thanks for reading.
