Personally i think any place that you spawn should have at least 1 tree and some grass (i always get the forest biome and i think that's the best) but there are some... well unlivable spots (i will update my locations as i spawn and research them but mostly they're my experiences) my first location is a single block above a ravine that has got to be the worst when i spawned there i tried jumping down but i kept dying and i quit. second i think spawning in the plains (where trees are not but grass is) has got to be another bad spot with no tools and all to get the wheat growing and all but you might find some pigs chickens or cows but still raw meat not to good. then there is the swamps aren't that fun either me and my dad have something against them just for me its the colour and the fact that they are just to bland. another area that's bad to spawn in would be the taiga to snowy and annoying but the trees and the planks are good to have. ice plains have got to be my least favorite there's nothing but ice and it gets annoying at fist they're cool but you don't want to live there. I spawned in a weird biome with a village on the top of it it was a desert hills but there was a chunk fail and the village was in halves and the sand was floating with the villagers never leaving their houses that was a bad place to spawn i cant remember the seed but if i find the lost file on my computer ill be sure to hand it out in updates to come. another spot that you might not like to spawn in would be on an island in the middle of an ocean with no trees or other islands i have spawned here before but i had a tree but my friend had spawned on an island with nothing but cactus and some grass.Today i spawned in a jungle on the top of a tree surrounded by a ravine. i have never seen one curve like that before it was amazing but the only way to get across was to jump because there was a hidden lava pool under the tree and it burnt the thing down it was cool but i didnt like spawning there.
