Introducing: Decapitation!

Features:

- Mobs now drop heads on death! (Decapitated - get it? okay ... moving on!)
- Change how heads drop to get them your way!
How to change head drops:
Simply use the Decapitation Admin Book to change mob head drops.
To get the Decapitation Admin Book, copy and paste this command in chat: /function tdp.511:settings
- Over 387 Mobheads to collect!
- Works well with my other datapacks!
- Works in Multiplayer!

... what head sounds? Definitely not here until 1.20. Nope.

Changes:
- Is now designed for Minecraft 1.20.3 and 1.20.4!
- Updated the Bat Head to reflect the updated Bat model introduced in 1.20.3!
  • The old Bat Head is still available and is now called the Old Bat Head instead.
Excel File Tweaks:
- Fixed a lot of small errors scattered about in the Decapitation Heads excel file.
  • All icon scaling issues have now been fixed.
  • All drop rate calculation inconsistencies have also been fixed.
- Merged some empty cells for a cleaner look.
  • Also, texts from some title and header cells have also been tweaked.
- All "Yes" values are now emotes.
- All drop rate numbers are now rounded to two decimal places.
  • Yeah, you don't really need all the extra decimals at the end - it's too small to have any impacts.
- Added data for the Bat Head and tweaked the drop rates accordingly.
Notes:
- I've also got all my internal systems ready for the upcoming mega-update that's adding 3072 Tropical Fish Heads to this project.
  • They aren't currently used in the update, but I'll put that to good use pretty soon!
- If you want to help me add 3072 Tropical Fish Head Variants to the game, I need you to help me with designing the skins for only 12 of them.
  • I have the underlying systems all ready for this mega-update, but I'll need your help to do these head variants some justice.
- You can also help me maintain projects like this by helping me on Patreon!
  • Your money will go into maintaining my projects, and expand them with better features and mechanics!
  • It'll also go into making bigger and better mega-releases, too!

Hi one question i installed the datapack as intented it worked really well the first week but now as soon as i place a mobhead the head turn into a player head do you have any idea how to fix that?

Can you make a thread at my Discord Server's help channel with more information? Thanks! (PS: If you like to figure things out yourself, you might've had a custom installation that interfered with how heads work - most likely a multiplayer server jar like Paper or Spigot or something like that)

I'll need more information to help you with your case. Can you start a help thread at my Discord's #send-help channel with some more information? (For example, have you installed it as it's intended yet? Is it a singleplayer world or multiplayer server? Is it on Realms? What other datapacks are enabled, etc..)

Your ISP may have blocked Patreon (the site I'm using as the hoster for my projects since it also supports historical releases), in which case you won't be able to download them there. You can ask me for a download in my Discord Server though - I'll give you the direct file there. See you soon!

does it have a random chance to drop a mob head or does it normally give you a mob head every time

If you're using the default settings for Decapitation, this drops by a low chance, depending on the mob you're hunting for.
Drop chance details are in the dedicated Excel file I'd designed for the project.
Of course, you can also tweak how heads drop yourself with the settings function, detailed in the pack's installation text file.

Eu tenho um pequeno bug: quando eu coloco minha cabeça no chão, ela reverte para uma cabeça padrão de Steve ou Alex. Você sabe como consertar isso? Estou jogando em um servidor multiplayer usando o Spigot 1.20.1.

I have a small bug: when I place my head on the ground, it reverts to a default Steve or Alex head.
Do you know how to fix this? I'm playing on a multiplayer server using Spigot 1.20.1.
