Afraid of the Dark is a simple pack that adds just a little fear to your world. In my opinion, I hate that people can just walk through the night/dark without a care in the world. This aims to give an incentive to stay in the light and properly light your world.
What does this pack do?
When you step into a light level that is 5 or below, you will be given a blindness effect. It's not too bad but it's certainly not the best.
After a minute or so of being in the dark, a nausea effect will be applied making it more difficult to walk around in the dark.
After that, there are 2 goodies that you'll experience.
Every second that goes by while nauseous and in the dark, there is:
• a 10% chance for a spooky sound effect.
• a 5% chance to take a little damage.
Are you ready to be afraid of what lerks in the dark?

Spoilers of what the 2 goodies are if you want to ruin the surprise.

the world is called "Datapack Test World"
very original, I know.
Go into creative and type /trigger AotdConfig, then click the change button next to blindness.
This allows you to change how many game ticks until you get blindness. so 10 seconds would be 200.
