Hello everyone, I present to you:
ACE(Amethyst, Copper, Emerald)
Tools and Armor
This is my first datapack, so bear with me!
FINALLY, ARMOR STATS HAVE BEEN ADDED. Leave suggestions / new ideas in the comments!

This datapack adds in three new armor and tool types, synonymous with materials in minecraft which have no use: Amethyst armor and tools, Copper armor and tools, and Emerald armor and tools.
The tools and armor are crafted exactly like any other tool or piece of armor! (Copper ingot, Emeralds, and Amethyst shards)
The best part? This pack does not replace any vanilla items, AND this works on multiplayer!
Admins: To give yourself all items use /function bionic:give_all_tools and /function bionic_give_all_armor
NOTE: TO USE CUSTOM ARMOR MODELS, THIS REQUIRES OPTIFINE OR SODIUM+CIT RESEWN
Tool mechanics are as follows:
Copper tools: 50% durability of iron tools until ANY unbreaking is applied. Durability will double AND you can enjoy benefits of unbreaking
Copper sword: Same durability rules as above
Emerald tools: Full durability of iron + mining speed boost. CANNOT be enchanted via crafting table, nor will it insta-mine at efficiency V
Emerald sword: Same durability as above + Increased attack damage
Amethyst tools: 50% durability of diamond, aka will ALWAYS consume TWO uses (or at least one with unbreaking III) + mining speed boost. WILL insta-mine Deepslate at efficiency V
Amethyst Sword: Sharply Increased Damage, 20% durability of diamond sword.. same durability rules as above
Armor Stats are as follows:
Copper Armor: Same durability rules as copper tools and sword
Amethyst Armor: Same Durability rules as amethyst tools, -3 armor toughness per piece BUT +10% speed boost for each piece (total 40%)
Emerald Armor: Same Durability rules as emerald tools, slight armor increase (.5 point extra for each piece from iron), same enchanting rules as emerald tools

But keep going you are doing really good!
I also have an issue where I don't have the animation with the amethyst pickaxe.
Ill look into custom anvil recipes and aee if they are possible
