I'll put this simply: This datapack allows you to pull apart your food items into smaller chunks. The output depends on how many haunches the original item offered. Raw Beef, for example, only yields 3 chunks, whereas Cooked Beef yields 8.

The advantage to pulling apart your food is that you can gain more Saturation in situations where you only have food that offers too many haunches to fit. But it isn't just practical. Pulling apart food will remove their special effects when in their smaller forms, allowing you to eat them without accidentally planting the Sweet Berry, or teleporting with the Chorus Fruit.

There is still a lot to be done before this can be considered complete, but it's at a good start so far.
