God of War Datapack Minecraft Data Pack



A multiplayer-friendly datapack, inspired by the famous video game, God of War.






About



This datapack aims to bring most of the iconic weapons from the God of War universe to Minecraft with their special abilities. We are planning to update this pack with boss fights and achievements later on!






You can:
    • Showcase the datapack and/or resource pack in any format if you credit the authors (Techno573 & Szombie).
    • Share the datapack and/or resource pack with the CurseForge, Modrinth or PlanetMinecraft links.
    • Use the datapack and/or resource pack on your own server.
    • Modify the datapack and/or the resource pack for private use only!






You can't:
    • Claim the datapack and/or the resource pack as your own.
    • Modify the datapack or the resource pack for public use.
    • Reupload any contents of the datapack and/or resource pack to anywhere.
    • Showcase or share the data pack and/or resource pack without properly crediting the authors.

List of weapons & their features

    • Leviathan Axe: Upon right-clicking, throw the weapon at an enemy to freeze and slow them for 3 seconds.
    • Mjolnir: Upon right-clicking, throw the weapon at an enemy to summon a bolt of lightning.
    • Blade of Chaos: Upon right-clicking, do a special spinning attack to damage and light your enemies on fire nearby.
    • Claws of Hades: Upon right-clicking, do a special spinning attack to damage and leech health from your enemies nearby.
    • Draupnir Spear: Upon right-clicking, stun enemies near the area you've thrown the spear to.


The Mjolnir and Leviathan Axe can collide when thrown at each other, and once it happens a lightning will strike.

I cannot craft the mjolnir weapon. I reloaded the world twice, exited and reentered, and nothing worked. I can craft everything else tho. It could be that I gave the nether star to myself with commands but I don't think that that should be a problem right?

Hey, Can You Please do the Resource Packs So that they are compatiable with 1.16 too. I don't Have a Good PC enough so please !!

Hey! I can't, it's impossible to bring my trident resource packs for versions below 1.16.5. However, my CIT (Custom Items) resource packs are working from 1.13+ (only exception are preview versions and 1.19.3). The datapack's resource pack however is working fine on much more versions, from 1.0.0 and upwards.

Thank you! As of now, we've not planned to make the weapon improvement system from the games, but that's an idea we'll definitely consider! Thank you for the idea. The main priority right now is to improve the existing weapons and add more weapons like Blade of Olympus, Nemean Cestus and the greek version of Blades of Chaos. We are also planning to do more of the special weapon abilities and bossfights! :)
