Ok now that that’s out of the way,

  I LOVE LUSHNABLER. It’s an amazing datapack. The only issue is that if you stand still, the entity count goes from 0 to 12,000 in a matter of minutes. Good luck getting any mob farms done with that.



  Well you see, after some extensive tests, I was able to narrow down the cause of the lag completely to AREA EFFECT CLOUDS of all things. That actually made it a quick fix. All I had to do was make a datapack that kills all area effect clouds every 10 seconds, and I could limit it to only kill ones in the overworld (more on that below).

Since the problem is only in the overworld, I could also make it so that it will not mess with nether and end area effect clouds, which is very good because this way it will not mess with the only place where area effect clouds actually matter: the end fight.
