Mage Lords is a Minecraft datapack that adds magic systems, magic spells, magic levels, custom weapons with unique skills, custom bosses, custom crafting, and more combat mechanics. This is the current project that I’m currently working on.

According to my plan, this datapack will have more than 30 magics.

MAGICS

The main combat method

According to the main plan, there will be more than 30 magics. Magics will have their own ways to be obtained, some are so rare, and some are too hard to obtain. And it’s also based on luck. Magics may also have unique status effects.

OFFHAND ITEMS

Barriers

Barriers may or may not be better than shields. Barriers grant resistance instead of blocking attacks like shields do. However, barriers have a special ability: they give the user a very short time of high resistance effect with a cooldown. This can be used to block high-damage attacks if timed correctly.

PRIMARY ITEMS

Offensive items

Primary items will have items that can be used as offensive items, but they will have fewer skills if compared to magics.

SECONDARY ITEMS

Mostly for support items

Secondary items will have items that are mostly support items, such as regeneration and resistance.

ACCESSORIES

Stats Booster

Accessories are an item that will give bonus attributes to the wearer. Put the accessory item on the top left inventory slot to use it. The purpose of accessories is to give the player advantage to tougher enemies.

MAGIC LEVEL

Improves magic attributes

Your maximum mana and mana recharge speed depends on your magic level. Magic level can be upgraded using XP levels.

STATUS EFFECTS

New unique status effects

There’s more status effects that I added, some of them are Paralyze, Freezing, Frozen, Insanity, Immortality, Etc.

CUSTOM BOSSES

New unique and difficult bosses

To make it a lot more challenging, I added difficult bosses that will drop lots of rewards.
