Latest Version: v0.5.1

Hey Guys,
this Datapack adds new Food to Vanilla Minecraft! You can get all of them in Survival Mode and the Datapack is Multiplayer Friendly! No Optifine is required.

For now there are 14 new Fruits, 4 Vegetables, 4 Nuts, 4 new Plants and 22 Food Items you can craft. More Food coming soon! Let me know youre Ideas in the comments!

Fruits (14)
All Fruits restore 2 (More Food Datapack [1.20.x] Minecraft Data Pack) hunger and 0.4 hunger saturation
  • Pear: Chance to drop out of Birch Leaves
  • Cherry: Chance to drop out of Cherry Leaves (v0.4.1 or below: Dark Oak Leaves)
  • Orange: Chance to drop out of Acacia Leaves
  • Lemon: Chance to drop out of Acacia Leaves
  • Banana: Chance to drop out of Jungle Leaves
  • Mango: Chance to drop out of Jungle Leaves
  • Carambola: Chance to drop out of Azalea Leaves
  • Pitaya: Chance to drop out of Flowering Azalea Leves

    Restores 1 (More Food Datapack [1.20.x] Minecraft Data Pack) hunger and 0.2 hunger saturation
  • Corn Cob: Chance to drop out of Tall Grass in Plains or Sunflower Plains Biome
    Restores 2 () hunger and 1.2 hunger saturation
  • Sweet Potato: Plant Sweet Potatoes on Farmland and let them grow
    Not eatable (raw)
  • Chili Pepper: Find them in Desert Pyramid Chests
    Restores 1 () hunger and 0.2 hunger saturation
    Effect: You spit some flames out of your mouth and you gain speed 1 for 5 seconds

→ Get more Seeds by destroying the Bush when it has Fruits

A really nice Datapack!

I was looking for one that expands the possibilities you could do in survival (Fishing, farming, enchanting etc.) and your Datapack is one that we might be using for our Minecraft project soon. I'd love to see what will expect us in the future, keep going!

Does anyone have an idea of why if the data pack is enabled all players start vomiting out the foods??

seems like the achievements get received all at once and It just keeps going unless we disable the pack. I don't see that there's any config for this? we are using on a fabric server. 1.20.1
no error messages received.

Maybe another datapack is installed which automaticly give you all advancements or all recipes all the time?

I'm having a hard time getting this to work on my server. The resource pack seems to make some textures work but not most of them. Fruits are cookies, meals are a mixture of potatoes and chicken. I have the resource pack combined with a handful of others so idk if its an incompatibility thing or not.

so what i did was i used itemsadder, and then made a contents folder,

what i did directly was
i made a folder named the name of the pack
then inside that i put

resourcepack and placed the assets of the pack there
