    A new update recently allowed us to trim armor using ten different materials. Using this data pack, you will be able to use ANY ITEM YOU WANT!

    Install this data pack like any other data pack (instructions). You also have to download and use the resource pack in order for the data pack to work. Then, pick up a smithing table, an armor trimming smithing template, any piece of armor (except leather) and any item you want and trim your armor (see the picture)!

    The main download supports only 1.20+. For older versions, see the GitHub page.

    the resource pack bugs when i try to load it, and it says there was a problem when it finishes loading, and simply doesnt activate the resource pack

    with the release of 1.20.1 they have now added 5 new trims. you could bring acneh support on those. Thank you

    I know 1.20 just came out today, but when do you think this will be compatible with the release? (without the experimental data pack). If it helps, the only trims that don't work are the silence trim, wayfinder trim, raiser trim, shaper trim, and host trim.

    I glanced through the changelog and I didn't spot any breaking relevant technical changes, so I believe it'll probably work fine (excluding post-20w04a templates of course as specified under "Limitations"). I might update the data pack in a few weeks to fully support it with all the templates.
