Lightning infused unstable ingots which can be stabilized with high risk, but also high reward.

Start by creating a tower from a cauldron, a brewing stand and a lightning rod. Throw a single piece of redstone dust at the lightning rod to cover it with heat isolating goo. Always make sure the cauldron is filled with water and the brewing stand is completely empty, because otherwise the whole setup will blow up.


Now the waiting game begins... Increase your chances with multiple setups. Once the lightning strikes the redstone covered rod, it will melt down into the brewing stand below. The brewing stand will contain 3 Unstable Ingots and a couple residual waste items. The fire charge can be used for fireworks and the dragon breath can be used for lingering potions, which can then be used for tipped arrows.


Before you can trade the lightning infused ingots, you have to stabilize them. Create the stabilizer by throwing a single regular copper ingot on top of a barrel. Upon opening the stabilizer, you'll find a single slot in which you can insert a single Unstable Ingot.


After inserting, the display should change. On the left you'll see a red timer, on the right you'll see a green counter and in the middle you'll see a randomly placed yellow square. Every time you click the yellow square, it will move and the green counter will decrease. If you manage to make the green counter hit 0 before the red timer does, you will get a Stable Ingot. If not, you will blow up.


Once you got your hands on a Stable Ingot, you can throw one of them on the ground together with a single chicken egg to spawn a trader. The egg will be used, but the Stable Ingot will remain for you to pick up again. The trader will offer you several highly valued rewards in return for the Stable Ingots.
