Introducing, The Virtual Miner.

The Virtual Miner pulls loot seemingly out of nowhere and drops it in the corner of the chunk it's in. It uses fancy scoreboard math to calculate the coordinates for it's chunk, and then it goes to work, sequentially scanning and 'mining' mine-able blocks.

You can make a Virtual Miner by tossing a Virtual Miner Core on a furnace. The core is dropcrafred (recipe depicted)

Virtual Miners cannot be created close together and must be at least 256 blocks apart.

End Notice:

Dropcrafting is a method of crafting which invovles dropping ingredients close together, the best method for getting this right is dropping them from your inventory against a wall.
I cannot guarantee that a given datapack will work outside of the 1.x version it was programmed in.
