TheShadbusherWhen you said "everything but headphones" I thought you meant the tower and all its components, not any peripherals. To me those are extra and should be mentioned specifically.
Ah sorry about that

Here's my revised build. I had to skimp out on the CPU cooler and the PSU (they're still really good, just not as good as the ones I suggested before), but here it is:

I would wait for a little while to see what happens because we are in between generations now.
1
Alright, I have time to order the parts n such, when do you think more updated stuff will be released
1
NVIDIA released their new flagship cards (the GTX 980 and GTX 970) yesterday (with the 960 coming out in October), and I haven't heard anything about the next generation of AMD cards.
1
Well, the 9xx series are getting pushed out now, so I expect within a month or so, you'll see AMD's cards coming out. But that's being based off of rumors, and other stuff. (Which turned out to be true with the 9xx series cards)
1
I managed to fit in an i7 in the build, but you don't get an SSD. Personally I'm still not sold on SSDs; my WD Blue works just fine and my computer boots up in like 15 seconds.
If you really want an SSD, you can downgrade the CPU to an i5.

We need to know if you are OCing because a OCing build is very different then a non-OCing build.

I will

Woody239You won't need a full tower for that build...
You're spending $100 more than you should on a case for that build.WTFshady-insert pc build questions here-

You can make quite a few improvements. Give me a little bit and i'll make a better build. Actually, answer this please. Replace Italics with your answers.
