Daniel coul only see a lump of almost dead shara on the ground. He quitly though to himself "I dont know how to deal with this..." Its what he rememberd saying after the main wave of depretion from his....everyone.....being dystroyed from the pluage. The only good thig about living by a infected hospatal, depretion pills. He had never takin over the prescribed amount...but if he was going to die, daniel would rather shoot him self then be killed by the pluage.

Daniel was almost on the ground by the time he saw them, looking for where they landed. He ran up the building and saw them, daniel and coal were slow to comfort around the black winged kid. It only took us a short time to find the main part of the city. The bright lights at the Mariat (is it the mariat?" were blinding, we stayed in one of the rooms at Cesers Palce Casino. It was run down in the inside from no one managing it. The next mornig, we had to find where we were aspose to be. Daniel only knew where coal was and coals map was taken away when he was locked up. But, he only rememberd one thing that made all the diffrence, the name "Luxor". We had to walk to the Luxor Casino, unlike New York, there were no subways.

"Guys! I'm going to make some gear for us!" There was now gear in front of us. We got it on in a minute or 2. (The gear was parachutes) "Rachel stear up we need to get away from that shooting and land somewhere else!" She steared up but we were still being shot at. Then we heard him shoot off the propeller then he shot another. We were plummiting but I didn't need to say anything for people to jump out. "Pull the cords now!" We did and were falling slowly. Pfffffft! I heard the bullet and Sarah's parachute had a hole in it, it started falling apart. "NO!!" I cut my lines and caught up with her still in the air. I thought fast and was saved from the thinking when the Blackwing guy caught us and brought us to a nearby building.

"Holy crap. Hey Daniel give directions to Rachel while she is flying." It took about 12 hours to get to Vegas, but we saw the lights at the 11 hour point. "I still don't get this thing about the lights. And who those men are and how we are suppose to keep away from them. We can't just keep running we have to be on the offensive. Hey Rachel can you land down there on that highway?" She nodded, and we started to descend. I heard a bang and saw a flash. "Ahhh!" Sarah sceamed, I got out the sniper gave it to Coal and told everyone to take cover. "What was that?!" Sarah kept yelling, I was trying to comfort her because she was the most traumatized, but I saw that part of her hair was shot off. "It's going to be ok Sarah, Coal has it under control."

They landed on top of a supermarket. "its as good of runway as any. Plane?" Daniel looked at Aaron, and he nodes yes. The plane came just in time, a group of men was running down the street. We run over each other to get in the plane. Rachile sprinted to the front of the plane. The engin started. Themen were at the building. We were starting to move. The men were on the roof. We were flying. The men were at the end of the building were we just were.

It was 4 days since we got to the Freedom Tower and we had seen one of the men in the city looking at his fallen coulege. We had some sense of hope from the top since we had barricaded the way up, had gear to get down, and had the STRATUS. 92 Cal. sniper rifle developed in 2016.
"Rachel what type of airplane do we need to get to Vegas because there are a lot of those men gathering and we need need to leave today, and I'm not joking there isn't anything left for us here and theres no need to wait." I said. CRASH "What was that?" Coal said immediatly while taking a hand to the knife I gave him. He was taking a liking to the weapon. "Take the supplies were gonna have to jump!" We got on the directional parachutes and we got on the roof just as soon as the barricade exploded open. "3! 2! 1! Jump!" We jumped off the building and 50 feet down we opened the parachutes. I took the sniper and just as I saw the man reach the side and halt I shot. I missed but it scared him he fell while screaming but it didn't last long because he was suffocated by the high alltidude and speed of falling.

The top of the building was considerably colder then the bottom. The upper levels were better. We camped on the highest floor, it was made of glass walls, you could see everything. Daniel explored floors 1-14, Aaron stayed at the top,Coal 28-42. Daniel found all offices and 2 subways. That ment food and cash. Aaron stayed at the top resting and making maps and planes of we're to go next. He decided we should walk to freedom tower. After the twin towers got bombed, they constructed the freedom tower. Even taller then the empire state building. Coal was the only one that found anything, a box a papers, a map of the contrary, new York, the subway system and a extremely old add for "fly LA", it was dated 2011 .

"No I don't but Rachel does." In the heat of the moment we forgot about everyone else that was here. "We need to wait until I get my strength back till I can make an airplane though. Lets go to thej top of the Empire State Building we can better defend ourselves there." We made it there in a couple hours since we still had the Camaro and I made a Dirt Bike for Coal because it wasn't much energy to make. The bird guy just took to the skys in a really pimp ass way.

Daniel had to look away, he was never a straght thinker when death was in his mind. He shook al lthoughts of this away. "Vegas, Austin, LA..." Daniel said. "Vegas, fine as far as I know. Austin, flodded 1 year ago. LA, flatend by twisters." Daniel said. He made a purple orb in his hand, ran his hands through it and wached its lack of pattern (ness?) Daniel glaced at the bleeding body of the man, the twisted man that killed hunderds of people. He kicked his body in to a near by river, takiong care to keep blood off of his shoes. "Do any of you know how to fly a plain?" Daniel says.

"Need any torture supplies I got em." I made a knife did a couple flips with it and gave it to Coal. "Where are they!?" He yelled at him. "I don't know what your talking about." He croaked, Coal started to aim the gun at his finger tip. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1." BANG he shot his finger off. "Ahhh haaaa ahhhh!" He yelled. "There in ahhh all the capitol cities. Vegaaaahh Vegas, Austin, LA. Thats all I know. Coal thrust the knife in his heart.

Daniel could only watch and be a backup, this was not his battle, or place to judge.

Coal was ather, immortality,and anything entropy wasn't. "Talk or I shoot you in three seconds!" Coal, unlike Daniel, would shoot them no matter what information they held.

"Oh thats what you did." Kinda laghing a bit. "Oh my god!!! There another one!" I pointed down the streets and there was a man running torwards me. I tossed a G3E6 to Coal. "Revenge feel good right about now?" He aimed down the sights shot once in the foot he stumbled he shot his hands and his other foot. "I want answers." He said.

Daniel had to grin at this. " deals with dementions, chance, and at times chaos, and opposers. Evle bird, make good bird." Daniel was laughing now.

"What did you just do? Like seriously I have no idea what entropy means thats why I didn't act suprised."

Daniel's eyes glowed. A bright purple light formed in his hand, he threw it at one of them. It hit, and instanly, a copy of the flying human was fighting for them. Daniel had to look at coal, having a older brother (even if it was for 30 minutes) it was hard not to look for aproval.

"Guys! Guys! Guys! A bird!" I yelled while pointing to the bird circling us. It went in a valley and a HUMAN came out! "Oh my god..." He was sprinting over to us and I was too shocked to react and it seemed he was too. "Uhh wha- how many are ther-" Thats the intelligent thing I had said.

The teen (who's name we find out is coal) tells us his story, how he had survived the pluage untill some man came and traped him in the box. How he had been in secron, a town out side of new York. Daniel lisand and so did Aaron.

Then he said something that could have killed Daniel, "I know I have 11 brothers and sisters"

We started climbing out of the dim area. "Hey dude were you trapped down there?" He nodded. "By who because we may have a common enemy...."

Shura hovered around the distance,he heard voices and decided to investigate,readying his sword(Is this too short?)

What made Daniel grab aarons arm and hold the gun way was the unnatural color of his eyes. A bright, pricing, green/blue. Aaron gave one last atempt to free his arm, and Daniel let it go. "Tell us who you are or we will...." Daniel could not finish the sentence, he could never soot any one that could tell him something about his family. The teens response. Was simple. He held out is hand and a green/blue orb went over his hand. Daniel opened his hand and the same, but different color.

"Sorry were out of popcorn." I said jumping down and looking at the teen. I took out a Uzi that I had found in the crate. "I am afraid to use this!"

Daniel walked around the strange room on the center of a another room. He started to walk by when he started to hear a slow, heavy, breathing. He turned to aaron, "Help me get in there..." Aaron paused, Daniel could tell that he herd the breathing. Daniel jumped up and aaron shoved Daniels feet in. Daniel fell for a fraction of a second, and landed face first on a cold marble floor. He picked him self up and turned to look at the small room. He turned and saw a older teen that was sitting on his knees ready to jump at Daniel. "Aaron!?!?" Daniel said franticly.

CHAPTER 2!!!!

Daniel remember the map, how it stopped on the middle of the street, could he find something? They went down the long stair case. Finaly they came down to a heavy led door. Aaron made a lick pick and the door swag open. A bright room filled with fluorescent lights made Daniel eyes burn. In the room was a iron wall that had no doors, but no ceiling ether.

"We need to follow these wires to the central building from where it comes from." I said wondering what we might find. We followed them to a building in the middle of a field, the door wwas closed but I still thought about what we might find. "Check the cabinents for things telling us how there is all this power." I opened one and found a lever. "Guys I found something." I pulled the lever and a part in the floor moved and we could see a metal spiral staircase leading down.

"The world swiched to nuclear power a year befor the strain, it came and we didn't have he recourse to fix then when they broke..." Daniel thought about the map, " ?.. They blew up and killed the power, I don't know why it would still have to power." daniel said. "We stay hear 2 more days, then we lever for Vegas." Daniel thought of a way to get to the destination of the map befor then.

"Hey Daniel something isn't right here." "What?" he asked. "The lights are on here but how do they get power? Those men are the only living people we have seen and there trying to kill me. Well I think these are the same people who developed the Strain. Didn't that man leave a bit earleir than when the Strain got to the city. We got to figure out why these lights are on and thats why I want to go to Vegas because the lights seem to only be on in the big citys like here."

Daniel was at the weel and slammed on the gas. The car zoomed down, when we saw the man, he was almost sure that it was the man. Aaron and shara fired the guns. the loud popping of the guns did not stop untill they couldn't see the man. How had the man have gotten there? After that, Daniel hit 100 mph when ever he saw a light. They hit new York in no time flat. The bracing smell of the ocean was so strong it made you wince. *a few days later.* They had found the plaza hotel, ruined by the strain years ago. The subway stations had developed a nuclear power system years befor the plumage started. They all rode the subway to new apartments tonsurch for anything they want in the apartments. It was a screwy feeling to see one of the biggest city's in the world, empty.

When they were on the highway to New York we were at least at 80 MPH we even found a box on the highway with a sign saying 'May god be with you' and inside it was a couple guns. "We are making great time guys. We got like 600 miles left until were there." I pulled over and asked if anyone else could drive because I was getting tired. When I woke up we were at a stand still and there was a man not even 30 feet in front of us. "Go Go Go!!" I yelled, because it was too dark to tell who it was.

"I could play a slot or 2" Daniel said joking. Daniel hoped in the car. Daniel decided not to mention the box he had found. In the top corner of the top self of the lobby, was a small safe with 3 different locks on it. He smashed them and found 3 things inside. A small vial of a strange liquid, a map with a rout to new York, and 1 picture of his famaly. He was taken by how diffrent we all were, some had darker looks. One of the sisters looked like she had orange eyes. He would get to new York adventualy, but he had to find the building the map led to.
