Seven months later.

On the delivery bed, Mikayla's hair was plastered to her forehead. She was panting heavily, and occasionally screaming.

On the other side of the one way glass, Drake was pacing, his chin in his hand. Tears were in his eyes, having to see her like this. He began to try and force his way into the room, he just had to be with her.

Mikayla's head fell back onto the pillow, still panting heavily, eyes closed. There were no other screams, and she felt a bundle pressed into her gently. She looked up slowly, looking at the small face. She took the bundle, staring at it with a mixture of love and exhaustion.

Drake was finally allowed into the room, where he sat next to her. "You did it baby."

She gave a weak smile, before she passed him the bundle. After it left her arms, her head fell back onto the pillow.

In his arms, the baby looked up at him. Drake gave a confused smile, and he touched it gently with his index finger. The baby grabbed the finger, and opened it's eyes. Drake was not surprised at all, to see that they were orange. The baby gave a small squeak, before it let go of his finger, and closed it's eyes again.

The monitor's steady beep began to slow, causing a nurse to shout, "We're losing her!"

Drake gave her a startled look. "What?" He looked back at the baby, who was still.

She looked back at him. "Sorry, but you'll have to go." She reached forward and took the baby from his arms.


The next hour for Drake was torture. They wouldn't tell him anything about Mikayla or his son. Only giving him glances when they asked. When they finally approached him, he knew it was bad. He stood up, "What's happening?"

The doctor gave him a sad look. "I'm sorry son, but the birth took too large of a toll on her. She passed on."

Drake slumped to the floor, staring at the doctor. "W-what? Oh God no... No." Tears filled his eyes.

The doctor crouched down, putting a supporting hand on his shoulder. "I'm incredibly sorry. But the news only gets worse. Your son died in your arms."

Drake gasped once, before bawling. He now had nothing to live for. The love of his life had died, and his child was dead. Two mobile units approached him, and picked him up in their arms. Drake just sat limp, staring at the floor. His eyes looked up, seeing a pistol on the unit's side. In desperation, he grabbed it, and pulled it to his head. He pulled the trigger, with one word on his lips. "Mikayla."

Elly leant into Jake he made her feel safe.

Daniel was shaking when he finished his story, Sayaki walked over and sat next to him. She hugged him to comfort him.

Jake Leaned on the Rail Next to her, Looking Over at the Sea. He Looked at Elly, And She Looked Beautiful With the Wind in Her Hair, And He Put his Arm Around Her.

Elly leant on the guard rail and looked over the sea, the breeze blew her hair back.

After reading her story Daniel felt sorrow for her, "Similar stories huh." He said as he spoke his.

Jake Smiled, And Brought Her Outside. After a Few Minutes of Walking, They Arrived at the Docks, Where He Set the Basket Down.

Elly smiled and stood up, she walked over and took his hand.

Daniel and Sayaki sat in silence, after some time he had managed to get her to write down who she was and her story.

"Alright, lets go Then" Jake Said, Standing up and Going to the Fridge, Getting out the Basket of Food. He Walked Back to Elly, And Held His Other Hand out to Her.

"Now is as good a time as any" Elly replied.

Sayaki looked round while Daniel started a fire for warmth, he cooked a tine of something.

Jake Smiled Again, And Put his Arm Around Her "When do you Want to go to the Docks?" He Asked Her.

Elly kissed Jake back and smiled at him.

Daniel lead Sayaki to his current home an old shopping centre he had found.

After Nothing on the Radio as Usual, He Turned it Off. He Turned to Elly, And Smiled, Before Leaning in to Kiss Her.

Elly sat beside Jake.

"Turn into a raven huh, nice power. You could fool them into thinking you are a bird." Daniel said, Sayaki changed back and pulled out a small pad of paper and a pen, she wrote down Friend? Daniel nodded and held out his hand to her, she took it and he lead her away.

Jake Put the Basket of Food In the Fridge Once it was Prepared, And Would Keep it in there Until They Were Ready. He Sat Down on a Couch, And Listened to the Radio, Though as Always, Their Was Just Static.

Sayaki backed away from the flames, Daniel jumped through them as they moved around him, he looked at the girl and smiled at her, "Hey I'm not going to hurt you." He said. Sayaki was still scared and there was a pop as she changed into her raven form.

Jake Went to a Fridge, And Began to Pack Food in a Basket. He Packed Lunch Meats, Bread, And Other Foods.

Elly got out of bed and dressed into a plain dress, she did not bother hiding her tail and ears now.

Sayaki was still sat on the roadside crying quietly to herself, she heard a robotic voice and looked up to see bots surrounding her.

Daniel saw a large number of bots aiming at a girl, he clicked and they were engulfed in flames.

Jake Smiled "Alright" He Said, Standing up. He Grabbed Some of his Clothes from a Old Dresser, Than Went into the Bathroom. He Changed into a White T-Shirt And Brown Jogging Pants, Then Left the Bathroom.

Sayaki was lost now and looked round, she sat down on the side of the road and began to cry.

"Don't Know" Jake Said, Shrugging. "We Could Do Anything you Want, i Suppose" He Said, Smiling.

Leon and Maya had left to wander the world.((Wanted to get rid of them for))

Sayaki wandered the ruins, she thought it would be safest but she had gotten lost.

"G'Morning" Jake Replied, Smiling Lightly.

Jake Woke up, Actually Managing to Sleep Good Last Night. He Rubbed his Eyes, Sitting up.

Drake had walked a fair distance into the city to make sure that he wasn't watched. He pulled a small box from his pocket, and slipped it into a mail box.

Jake Laid Down on his Bed, Staring at the Ceiling. This was All Complete Craziness, All Because of him. He Should Have Never Kissed Elly, He Was a Complete Idiot for Doing so, He Knew Better then That.

Jake Started Back Towards the Base. Once They Arrived, he Opened the Doors, Then Went to his Room.

"Alright, Ready to go?" Jake Asked Her, Wiping Some More Blood off of him.

Elly thought for a second and told him to wait, Elly walked into the building and spoke with Daniel for a second before she leant in and kissed him, after they parted she walked back to Jake.

"Alright, Suppose We Should Head Back to the Base" Jake Said,Standing up. "-Or Just Me, If you Want to Spend Some Time With Daniel" He Added.

Elly picked Jake up into a sitting posistion, "Not a good idea to be here right now." She quietly told him.

Jake Sat up "Now, i Just Need Eyes in the Back of my Head" he Said, And Laughed Lightly, Before Laying Back Down.

Elly crouched and hugged Jake, Daniel walked back into his current home.

Jake Continued to Cough Up Blood on his Hand For a Minute, Then Managed to Stop. He Wiped his Hand On His Shirt, And Nodded to Daniel., Then Turned to Elly.

Elly turned back to Jake as she heard noise, Daniel looked at him suprised by his regeneration. "Wings not your only power now then." he said.

After a Few Minutes, The Wounds on Jake Suddenly Started to Heal, Until Their Was Only Marks. a Heart Beat Happened, Once, Twice, Until it was at a Normal Pace. The Light Came Back into his Eyes, And he Quickly Turned his Head As He Started Coughing up Blood Horribly.

Elly had blood on her knees and hands as she kept shaking Jake, Daniel pulled her away and she went limp and turned to hold him.

Jake's Limp Boy Stayed Motionless, The Bullet That Went Through His Head Had Missed His Brain.

Daniel set about pulling the robot apart quickly to make sure it was down. Elly crawled over to Jake and shook him telling him to wake up. Daniel looked away.

The Mobile Unit Wasn't Fast Enough, And Was Hit. It Deactivated a Few Seconds Later, The Red Lights in its Eyes Going Gray.

Daniel heard gun shots and rushed out side as did Elly, he saw Jake dead in a pool of blood, Elly screamed when he saw him and fell to her knees sobbing. Daniel rushed to bot and aimed for the weak spot on its' back.
