As for 3rd party games not collaborating with Nintendo, look at the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger franchise. They're all done by EA games, as well as EA Sports.

Most likely not Wii, but if anything, it would be the Wii U.

It's a possibility, as Mojang is looking to expand Minecraft's audience. Minecraft isn't too popular in Japan, but the Wii U is. I'm suspecting that they will, but it isn't official.

Coming to "Wii U" The only Nintendo consoles I own are Nintendo DS and Wii. I still play with them, too.

Metal Gear, Monster Hunter, and Animal Crossing are three big ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Um, that happens all the time. It's the 3rd parties who chose to not work with Nintendo (mainly on the WiiU. The 3DS has great 3rd party support).

1: I think it's very doubtful it will come out on Wii. Nintendo has basically dropped support for it, and it's a bit underpowered.
2: I think that 3DS and the WiiU would be great plats for Minecraft. The 3DS could handle the mobe version pretty easily.

It kinda sucks. I have it. Sky is glitchy and just overall classic Minecraft. He also has no plans on a survival version.

It would really work on 3DS due to touch controls. Look at the Call Of Duties on DS. They use touch pretty well. Nintendo said it would be fitting and that it will probably make it on there.

There were some rumours of it going to be on WiiU, in my opinion I think that it would really work well with the WiiU.
Someone even made a fanmade Minecraft WiiU Concept Trailer which was pretty cool as well.

I have a 3DS... I sure as hell hope it comes to 3DS.

Would be really cool on Wii U with moving the Wii U around for viewing, using the Wii U Pro controller, or even a Game Cube controller, but it would be impossible with a Wii-mote.

Are you kidding? Psyically yes it'd be a challenge having to mine all the time, but I think it'd be great fun. Swing the wii-mote for left-click, click the back button for right-click. Nunchuck to move, the other buttons on the front (1, 2 etc) for other options.

It would be great if they released minecraft on the WII. these controls would be a good start.

It would be possible with the Wii-mote, look at Call of Duty 4 on the Wii, that used motion controls that were pretty ok, the same could be integrated with Minecraft on WiiU.
For example, To move the camera around you move the wii mote, the nunchuk to move about, the trigger button could be the place blocks button, A could be break blocks or even jump, jump then could also be done by moving the wii mote upwards quickly.
Might be finicky but is still possible.

Well, it could end up on the Wii-U once the updates slow down, because I don't think Nintendo has time to update it all the time. xD
