~Hello there Minecraftians! I made this forum so that we share awesome swords sprites to be used for whatever reason we want! I'll contribute every once in a while 'cause I make higher resolution swords!
~Keep in mind that I won't be as available at sometimes then others. I will try to do your requests as soon as possible!
~If you were to use any of my own below, do give credit please! I would like to be appreciated for these sprites! Once you give credit, you can use them for whatever you like! Banners, signatures, signs, texture-packs, modifying, etc... But you may NOT sell these, or use Ad.fly or similar sites to farm pennies on these directly, or claim that these are your work of art; everything else is fine with credit.

Sorry about that. I try my best to make the sword requests, I start doing requests that were earlier. I'm slowly moving up to the last page. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Nah, it's just when I increase resolution of stuff, my way makes it look hexagonal, specifically octagonal. Here is an example. (This is no longer my skin!)
A pixel a square.
I'm pretty certain that those vertical corners that you are referring to won't render properly. The only reason you can get those corners like that is because it is higher resolution than a regular skin.
Maybe Minecraft supports higher resolution player skins, I'm not sure, but I don't think it does without a mod.
When I meant by skin, I meant the lower resolution one of which this was based off of. Minecraft still doesn't support higher-resolution skins. I would use this by changing my texture pack and go offline mode.

Can you make a steel hand and a half sword? the pommel needs to be grippable and the blade is longer than a regular sword because you can use one or both hands to fight with it. also, I was wondering if you could make a simple channel in the middle and to slightly blue the steel near the channel and especially near the hilt. but don't make it too blue, make it realistic!

I like the ideas and creativity, but try to stick with the pixely theme and add a bit of flavour/shading, THEN it will be TRULY amazing I support what you've got so far xD

Nope, I don't mind! In fact, I recommend that people do use my swords for their own personal uses (besides selling/not crediting/taking ownership over them). It would be great to tell other people about this fantastic forum!

Could you try making a bone sword or a sword made from things dropped by mobs? I prefer it being based off a bone though.
Well, the Rank Flesh Hammer-Sword of the Never Living is made up from stuff of mobs. Bone grip, flesh blade, fermented spider eye guard and spider eye pommel. But if you want one based off of a bone, I'll make one! I already have a nice style in my mind!

Made it! I was trying to figure out how to make it look genuinely like lapis.
you seem to be pretty good with making unorthodox swords. and don't worry about the resolution, what I understood from the 1.5 Update log is that, with the change of the texturepack format, resolutions no longer need to be consistent. since your swords' resolutions are still multiples of 16, you shouldn't realy worry anyway.

Sure, its fine; as long as proper credit is used and that direct selling of these sprites are not done.
It's like Linux, you can modify the OS, but you cannot make money off of it. You can sell the disc that contains the software; just not the software directly.
