This Lock & Key mechanism is only 2x4 and 3 blocks tall.
It makes it so you can only unlock a door when you possess a unique item, the "Key." When you put that item into the Lock Mechanism, the door opens.
This isn't my first video on these mechanisms, but this is my smallest design yet, and perhaps the smallest design for a Lock & Key Mechanism ever!

That's with commands, this is perfect if you wanna do it in survival!

It's unbreakable with the command.

Just use this command to lock doors etc:
/blockdata ~ ~ ~ {Lock:"password here"}1

Definitely big, but (in my opinion) it's no longer "too big" to use, like the old version.
I'd post a screenshot of how it looks in my Apartments, but when I try uploading my PS3 map to PS4 it just sits at 0%.

Not stealed/reuploaded from Mumbo Jumbo or something like a lot others do.
Also, can you build not redstone things? Like buildings or nature.

Thanks! Yeah, all my designs are original. Of course, it's possible someone else came up with the same thing.
As for building nature and building things, I can definitely do that, my most recent video was actually not focused on Redstone, it was about different tips & tricks for Lighting techniques. Most of my videos are Redstone Tutorials though.
Command blocks are only available in Creative (like MrMidknight said)
Command blocks are only available on PC Edition, not Pocket Edition or Console Edition (I want as wide of an audience as possible)
Plus, to me, using command blocks to do things that can be done with Redstone is just cheating I think command blocks are for things you CAN'T do with Redstone, like spawning a skeleton with certain equipment riding on the back of a skeletal horse. But again, that last one is just my personal opinion.
