Any shading tips?
I’m starting to get I to skinning more and more, but the ok thing I struggle with, shading. Any tips or tricks to make any skin epic?

I never heard of hue shifting before, I looked it up and fixed one of my skins with it, it looks twice as better. thx man XD, I learned something new
Thnx, that really helps. I already rely too much on the hue shading xD. Just look at my current skins.
1. Look at other people's skins and copy their shading techniques. This is how I got the hang of shading.
2. Keep in mind that this is essentially 3-d pixel art so too much detailed shading will make it look messy.
3. the edges of a part should be darker, and where the limb meets the torso should also be dark too
4. The darker the shade, the more saturated it should be, and vice versa.
5. Make sure the base color black has 3-5% lightness so you can always go darker when shading.
6. When shading hair most skinners like to have lighter colors at the top, and darker on bottom, but I've seen some skins that have the opposite technique.
