Question
I'm going to make skins of Rin and Len Kagamine, but since they're both twins they should have the same hair/skin colour and I was wondering if it would count as a recolour if I used the same hair and skin palettes for both skins? All other palettes would be different, but I would be using the same shading so it might be like using other skin's parts, which is against the rules..

I know there's something to where you'd name your submission as something like, "Twin Characters", and you'd post either of the twins as the main submission, and then the other twin in the description of the main submission (so it's like a variant).

I may do that, I'm going to make both skins first and see how similar they are. If they look reasonably different I'll post them as separate skins and if not I'll do what you suggested ^^

Bump? It would be nice to have a definite answer from a moderator or someone who has done it before c:

I've seen a few skinners make both of them using the same colours! I believe it should be fine :3

this is them, I may end up posting one and having the file for the other in the description.

If the models are different (e.g. the arms, legs or torso are different etc) it wouldn't count as a recolour. (As far as I know).

Right. So basically, if they had designs that would make them easy to differentiate between, then it's alright.
