What Skin Making Software/Website Do You Use?
I am a skinner and don'd find CS6 comfterble to skin.

I use Paril's MCSkin3D because it is awesome.
Pixlr and Gimp.
MCSKIN3D for me because of ze slider and it's also pretty easy to upload to pmc and minecraft being it along with the other very nice features

I've only found drawing straight onto the skin in the 3-D shape slightly buggy, but the undo button makes it all worthwhile.
Wow Mayuri.... after I report some guy using your hair you could at least trust that I use my own parts....
MCSkin3D is the best, but i've only made 3 skins, and only posted one of them. :/

No, just be sure to download the latest version. The older version has a memory leak issue that can potentially crash the program.

I use Nova Skin. Not any pre-made parts, though.

You're allowed to use websites like those as long as you make them entirely by yourself, I asked Charlizard because I use novaskin to create my skins. I have a mac so I can't use paint.net and I don't know what gimp is.

MCSkin3D, that is the best, its made by a site developer here, its one of the only programs that has a 3D model of the skin that you paint right onto, it has a great user interface, etc

I use the nova skins maker becuase its really fast and really easy!
Skindex, I'm so old fashioned.
I use SkinEdit to make my skins. It has the basic tools, like shading, and even adding noise. It's a really good program; as it also gives you a background to work on and it tells you what parts you are skinning, like the top of your head, the bottom of your legs, the sides of your arms, etc. I've used it since 2011.

I stopped using Skin making websites because with all those new skins they're hard to shade and give different gradients to them so i just started using Minecraft Skin Editor and it works wonders for me and if you check out my page with my skins on it you can see that i have improved!

Only the minersneedcoolshoes "Armory" is banned. The skin editor itself is actually quite good.
