Hi, I'm looking at making some custom textures for my SMP server, I had been using NovaSkin, but I noticed that it was slowly washing out the textures each time I saved the texture, so I'm looking for a new texture editor, does anyone know what one of the better texture editors would be?

Many thanks

Gimp is pretty good and it's free

I use paintdotnet is and aseprite combined, aseprite mostly for animated sprites, but aseprite is not free. Paintdotnet is quite good considering its free, and many many people use it.

I don't personally use paint 3d because it has a tendency to be unreliable (Although that might be me), you can use the skin editor on pmc but I would personally say paint

Paint does not support transparency, in this place I would recommend PaintDotNet or GIMP instead.
