PLEASE HELP; Sound Issue
Hello,
For about 3 hours now, I have been attempting to get the following audio file as my "ding" sound. The one when you hit someone with a bow.

I Can here it fine, its just slow and low-pitched for some reason.
make sure you spelled the file name right and it's saved as
Resourcepack/assets/minecraft/sounds/random/successful_hit.ogg
EDIT: I remixed the file, sounds just fine. New .ogg File

From what I understand, you want that sound effect to play when you hit someone with an arrow?
What you need to do:
1. Download the file, it will probably download it as an MP3, but it MUST BE .OGG
2. To convert the file, you can use audacity and export the source file as a .ogg, or use an online converter
Because I cannot find where the sound sources are for the actual game, you must have a resource pack loaded to do this.
3. go to \assets\minecraft\sounds\random or if it does not exist, create that directory. Continue to step 4.
4. save the .ogg file that you downloaded as "successful_hit.ogg". It must be exactly that, it is case sensitive, and needs the underscore.
5. Zip the resource pack together and place it in your resource packs folder, you can now use this and the custom sound should work.

That's exactly what I did, but it doesnt work. In minigames such as Warlords on Hypixel, I hear it every now and then. But it doesn't happen when I hit someone with the bow; it's just silent.
Ok ill try and think of a solution and get back to you

1. Turn up your volume
2. Go into Minecraft and go to Options>Muisc & Sound>Master Volume 100%>SFX 100%
3.Contact Mojang Support at support@mojang.com
4.Go to minecraftfourms.net to see if your issue has bee solved there
5.Give me 2,000,000 years. JK
