I'd use camtasia studio if you werent looking for a really complicated one. The best you could buy......Sony vegas?
Ok What would be the best one I could buy
I'd personally suggest Sony Vegas Pro 12. It's a modest price for a modest program. It's user-friendly enough to learn and be productive quickly, While having enough behind the hood to produce very high quality videos.
You're not going to get anything good for free, Windows movie maker is literally the best that you'd get.
