Need help (New to youtubing)

Hello, recently my brother and I bought a server strictly for making minecraft youtube videos to add to a current youtube channel. Since I'm new I was wondering what are the best programs to use to make a video? We aren't looking to spend that much on any programs so something reasonable or even better free would be first choice. Thank you for your time.

Quicktime doesn't suck, its just not the best recording software.

Fraps:($40usd):I think its probably the best out there. I recommend this the most.

Bandicam:(Free): Its good for being free but in your videos theres a bandicam watermark at the top. http://www.bandicam.com/
Mac Softwares:
Screenflow($100usd) I recommend the most. http://www.telestream.net/screenflow/
Screenium($40usd) Its good but not as good as Screenflow. In app store
